You really want to pick ares there because if you don't pick it that means no chance you fight it for last, and ares drops are by far the best for summoner

Difficulty wise too, having him paired with another mech is more comfortable IMO

That's really something you need to find for yourself tbh. It's all about realizing if he's doing them horizontally or vertically and trying it out

Sometimes I even managed to get him to do a fucked up horizontal dash which involved him doing a dash, then kind of curling around me and doing another horizontal dash

And I could just keep dodging I'm the same direction, just remembering to also dash through his body

Spooky: lowest defense, highest damage
Plaguebringer: low defense, and lower damage, but it has a ram dash which frees up an accessory slot
Valhalla knight: tankiest, also lets you use multiple sentries which can be really powerful.
Hydrothermic: good damage, not as high as spooky normally BUT it has the vent minion which can take damage higher than spooky+ normal minion setup if you do it right. Also has decent defensive stats

Dodges and sealocket don't play TOO nicely (as in the dodge and one sealocket charge are both consumed together) but a dodge is still very valuable to have for adrenaline saving IMO, and it can also save your ass in the later phases if you consume the dodge fast enough
