and while I'm not a huge fan of the mechanic, having AS only have one weakspot near its tail definitely shuts down PreHM mage

And get a good weapon. Bladecrest Oathsword will carry you to slime god, so farming that preboss is a good idea

is to

Make a modpack from your list

and disable half of your mods

if your game starts working, good narrow it down from the disabled mods

if it is still broken

it is one of the enabled mods

Repeat the process

This will take about 7 trys with 64 mods so it is very quick, exponentially so
