you need to talk to solyn after defeating it, try a day later just in case
if that doesn't work, you can probably just go into singleplayer, and get solyn to do their thing, I don't think its all too important for multiplayer to witness it

Managed to get an adrenaline boost through Ares' carousel attack, and used that to blitz Thanatos in the last phase
Doing summoner and Ares -> Thanatos was the easiest for the combos I tested
Cause you don't really have to fight Thanatos alone until the very end, I just kept dying cause I didnt prepare for the wide laser attack
