Exoblade is generally preferred for SCal because it is completely braindead
It deals tolerable damage with no strings attached. No thinking, aim or effort required
You can focus your 100% into not dying, and don't need to worry about making progress on the fight
Other weapons can absolutely be stronger, but they just require more effort into getting that strength
