I think Sonic Prime is the best Sonic show so far. The plot is interesting and leaves room for many creative story arcs, with the show featuring many alternate universes of Sonic. The main alternate Universe we see reminds me of both the Archie comics / the Sonic cartoon AKA "SatAM" and what Sonic Forces (the game) might could have been.

I do have some complaints, such as Shadow for some reason seeming to like punching Sonic and the wasted potential of using other existing Sonic side characters from the games (or even the aforementioned comics / old cartoon) instead of some bland side characters they show throughout.

But overall, the show is fantastic. I highly recommend it. It's a great show even if I may not think it is as good as it really should and imo easily could have been as a Sonic show. A lot of that is really just from the perspective of someone who knows Sonic games and stuff already, but I think someone who does not already know Sonic would actually enjoy this show more.

Particularly, I wish they had Team Chaotix in the show. It seems baffling that Rouge is a main character while Team Chaotix and Cream & Cheese aren't in the show at all.

But otherwise, I absolutely love all these alternate timelines and such, and the overarching story they seem to be trying to tell here.

It kinda reminds me of Infinity Train in a very loose way, just with how each universe is like a brand new story, but there is shared lore within these otherwise seemingly separate stories

Oh, also, it seems very reminiscent of older Sonic games at the start before all the alternate universes stuff happens

I'd actually guess that it takes place after Sonic Adventure 2 if it weren't for Orbot and Cubot being in the show. Also, there are no chao

But it still sticks closer to how the Sonic games from Sonic Adventure 2 and before were. No wisps, none of the cringe from Sonic '06, nothing referencing Sonic Boom really, etc.

I think Sonic already had some weird association with chili dogs when I got my first official Sonic game. I haven't been around for that long lol
