The skip is you fly to the Mini subs get in them then get out and get in the helicopter

You fly up to a certain point and fly forward once the yacht shoots 1-2 shots at you, you jump out skydive and crash into the front of the yacht alerting them

It’ll respawn you in a sub but it wouldn’t have activated the checkpoint to climb on his yacht yet. So the game puts you just under it. Since he’s alerted but you aren’t at the checkpoint to get in his yacht his helicopter explodes and you just gotta activate the checkpoint and drive away

The only down side is if you do it too fast you don’t get as much money but it’s easily a 100k+ for about 4-6 minutes

ive done around 220 of these missions and i still don't understand the "mechanic" totally not sloppy code

I think that the boss’s helicopter blowing up is attributed to a never ending glitch regarding that front helipad and helicopters..

Just try landing a helicopter and leaving it there for a bit, trust me it will eventually blow up for no reason
