i'd borrow a psu from a friend to check if its really the psu, if it is, i'd buy a brand new psu, dont repair that psu, im guessing they've stuffed a very cheap psu in there which is not worth repairing.

unless you are sure the repair guy is a pro, you shouldn't repair it. repairing a psu is abit tricky, a cursory repair could make the psu output unusual voltages which may in long term damage other components.

Ive got this issue with my pc

Every now and then my pc freezes for a up to 5 seconds.
When it freezes the audio crackles, my peripherals turn off and i lose all input.
Whatever was pressed on my keyboard when it freezes gets stuck and i gotta reboot to get it unstuck.
it even switched my audio from headphones to my monitor speaker once
Ive tried DDU, didnt work.
Task manager doesnt show anything weird happening, and theres nothing in event viewer either

also check which process is using gpu when it happens, if any.

it cant be the thermal paste of the gpu since it 'remains' in a fixed temp range, this means the cooler is doing alright.

other factor might be that you gpu is just running fine but that is the zero rpm mode that only spin the fans over 60C

which also means your have restrictive airflow inside the case.

I would second the Linux live usb idea that comes up every few weeks this happens, but you probably won't be able to test GPU load so easily with only the usb drive's storage and no risk-free place to store the games

Is it being just the GPU while gaming a consistent thing? Happens more than a few times and certainly not just being sped up by having a GPU present?

i think it happened a few times while not gaming, and ive only really played 2 games lately both on which it happens

one is BF2042, which puts my cpu at ~85% usage and gpu around 35%, and V rising which puts my gpu at 98% usage(74 celcius) and cpu below 30%

i dont think hardware issues can be diagnosed via task-manager, your best option would be trial and error, so hopefully you'll find where the fault is.

have you tampered your Bios options since you got this system? you can also restore factory settings there and try, some options like "fail-safe" settings or something alike.

When i try to boot my pc into windows it doesnt work

I have checked boot order and it shows my ssd (boot drive) and my hdd

However in bios both of these are not in the boot order shown below

Every now and then my pc freezes for a up to 5 seconds.
When it freezes the audio crackles, my peripherals turn off and i lose all input.
Whatever was pressed on my keyboard when it freezes gets stuck and i gotta reboot to get it unstuck.
it even switched my audio from headphones to my monitor speaker once
Ive tried DDU, didnt work.
Task manager doesnt show anything weird happening, and theres nothing in event viewer either
Tried resetting CMOS, didnt do anything
Full windows reinstall didnt work, windows memory diagnostic doesnt show anything either

tried swapping parts with older parts i still have, didnt change

It will analyze minidump files and will narrow down which is the actual problem

I was getting DPC_WATCHDOGS errors BSOD
Until i found out that problem was in the Wifi Card which was the culprit

WhoCrashed is a very useful software

Saves u a lot of time
