QLC SSDs can just kinda die when doing large writes and much moreso as they get full. You can test another sata port on your board, your drive settings in Windows, and make sure you have chipset drivers up to date, but if everything else is fine, you have to deal with or return it.

If you have a USB drive with nothing you care about on it, do test in a Linux live USB environment to rule out any issues related to your specific Windows install. hdparm is a good tool to try

-System->Administration->Disk Utility, choose your SSD, and click Benchmark

you can't really build a thing when graphics cards started becoming double what they should be
Come to think of it, the term gaming pc is just pretty outdated, way back when you would build a computer specifically to play games on with certain parts, nowadays everything modern and relatively good with a graphics card is a gaming pc.
So the difference between a beefy office computer and a "gaming pc" is whether or not it looks professional, or has rgb and glass everywhere
