Hey, wondering if I could have some assistance. So I'm attempting to find mesh currents of four meshes using mesh analysis. I notice 3 of the meshes have current sources, while one only has a voltage source. Additionally, the voltage source is shared between the mesh that has no current source and one that does. There's resistors scattered all around with varying values. Are the mesh currents of the meshes with current sources the value of said current sources?

I've already made assumptions that the far left, the far right, and the top meshes have currents equal to the value of the independent current sources each mesh has, and done equations for the middle mesh. I want to know if that was correct.

The problem I'm encountering (which is not covered in the video) is what happens in the case of independent current sources being applied to the meshes. You count them in the loop when you get to them, the same way when you're looking at a circuit from voltage perspective, you count batteries.

Let's take a look at the independent current source at the top for instance, say it has 10 amps, the resistor to the right is 2 ohms, the one clockwise from that is 3 ohms, and the one to the left of that is 7 ohms. Is the current of the top mesh 10 amps, or do I need to do something else with it to find the correct answer?

I did some looking around, and figured it out based on what khan academy and others were saying. Anytime an independent current source is only connected to one mesh, that mesh's current is the value of said independent current source. From that info, I was able to determine very easily the mesh currents for 3 of the meshes, and the one in the bottom middle has the following equation:

V-(R)(I2-I1)-(R)(I2-I3)-(R)(I2-I4)=0

ya thats what I thought. but I'll probably be building the PC over around a year which is why I thought I could get the 5600x and get a GPU later. Seems like G is the way to go

and as i said the 5600G is a great cpu in the long term for a lot of users like people building a streaming computers or running servers... they will be willing to pay more for it than a 5600X cus they dont need a GPU just something to show image and a lot of cores

1.5x the price for a moderate CPU power increase and a pretty decent iGPU. Really up to your use case, but it may be!
OBS user? VM user? Linux user? Mining? Need shorter render times? 5600G is the answer, undoubtedly.

I think it is because 90$ Canadian (like 73$) is not much to get much more out of a PC

Got a question regarding circuit analysis and finding the voltage draw of a resistor using source transformation. In the following circuit, how does R1 affect Vo of R3, or if it's too difficult to answer, how does it affect the circuit as a whole?

My understanding is if a resistor is shown in parallel between the Independent Current Source and the problem resistor, that I can convert the ICS to an IVS by multiplying the resistor value to the ICS value and placing the resistor in serial to R3. Would it be the same case with R1 in this circuit, or would I need to apply it differently?

My initial thinking is to convert IVS into ICS by doing IVS/R2

Once that's done, add the Two ICS together, perform the operation (R1*R2)/(R1+R2) = Rf

#

Then find I by performing (Rf/(Rf+R3))*ICS=I

after that, multiply R3 by I to get the voltage across that resistor.

To give you an idea, the IVS is set to 8V, and the ICS is set to 10A, and I keep calculating the voltage across the resistor is 64.4V, which I know is not correct.
