oh
its discrete i think
NOO
I GOT IT WRONG AGAIN
this one is even moar confusing
if i get it wrong i fail the hw
ok i got it
but i got 80% on hw 😭
7th grade math
Aint no way
Oh
Then it might be an intro to quadratic equations then
i honestly have no idea
maybe algebra 1 is just easier now
my teacher was talking about functions and whatnot
ohh
i think i know whats going on
maybe shes catching the 7th graders up to 8th grade
cause i already learned this stuff
yeah that makes sense
So can I ask about my math hw here
Dm me the pcpp link if its about PC builds.
Ill post it here for you. Freaking level restrictions.
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Gdhdhsjdhdmxj/saved/#view=ZQ6GP6 target res 1440p im gonna guess? @zinc remnant
Ya
R8 my current PC:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bJFfNP
But good luck finding that 3080 at MSRP, that 1700$ build will cost you at least 700$ more
you have exactly that?
Not enough storage
CPU was great at the time, but now it's not the best. cooler + ram + board are great (even overkill for ram), storage no comment, graphics card 2070 super good but not great (I would have never bought first gen RTX cards), power supply great, case outdated design nobody uses disc drives anymore.
I still use a disk drive 😛

No joke
he has like 8TB storage
I wouldnt go and get an upgrade for the CPU, i would consolidate the storage.
At that point just get a NAS
I mainly use it for watching movies and playing older games I still have on a CD or DVD.
Thats straight up just janktacular.
At least I never need to uninstall any of my games 😛
Yeah, the storage is a bit much TBF. I'd probably pull all but one drive if I sell this PC to build another one.
Idk man having 8TB of games feels like hoarding junk
You never modded Arma 3 or Asetto corsa then, arash
You can build a computer selling those drives
9tb

I have 3 1tb ssds and a 6tb hdd
holy crap
where are you getting this storage
the ssds have the games on them, the hdd has plex backups, nvidia shadowplay dumps, and a shitton of isos.
idk how people have this much crap Claire
300GB of mods for a game i only play like 3h a week
there used to be a time when people would get fired from game making if they used more than expected resources.
I'm getting to the point where I'm considering buying a server just to have a SAS controller so I can scoop up those stupid cheap $20 6TB drives on ebay
and now, oh yeah, let's use 400GB... it's just stupid man
I bought two of the SSDs when initially building the PC. Got a third one by ripping open an ESSD from costo purchased from a gift card I obtained from work for xmas, and the 6tb drive I got from one of my friends who salvaged old datacenter servers. got that one for $50
Whole server hardware is cheaper than a SATA drive, where are you getting the deals
o, good friends!
Good idea, make an internal SAN
Used drives 🤮
Usually I would agree
But they're replacing 80-320gb drives that still have IDE connectors on them
And hard drive prices stopped falling, and I can't work anymore
20$ drives are cool but not having to risk my GPA from scratched platter is cooler.

The thing is... U cant forget im dum so i forgot that graphics cards wasnt an option rn
Im sorry
It's fine
sora faceplant was and is the best hololive clips to ever exists
Banned Máté#5025 (Case #120404) (user notified with a direct message)
em
i hope u guys are good with math
cus i am stupid
so
dm me if u wanna help me
for a pic 😏
cringe
how is that a sale
it's a gen 4
if you need an SSD that's a very good one
even for a PS5
$450 MSRP
There are very few workloads that would benefit from this though
u see the ps5 requires like 5500MB/s NVMe ssds
this one is 7000
with a good price imo
so it should set you up for the future
Makes sense for ps5 if its solely for that, yeah
I think I'd check local 980 Pro prices before pulling the trigger, SN850 at $300 is very close to 2TB 980 Pro MSRP
They both target 7000MB/s
that's the regular
write speeds, maybe?
i guess it depends on what he can find cheaper
lemme look up 980 then
one sec

@brave field $500 for the Samsung Evo Pro
Not worth if that's the 980 Pro
SN850 for $300 is better value, unless its being used in a PC
more expensive and potentially slower, nah
also I need to wait days for shipping
with shipping cost
the thing is that Norwegian shops for me are free shipping
Help
I don't see apple ssd's
eh... WD... dont like them
I thought wd drives were common
Untrustworthy like unreliable?
They swap their components without ever making public announcements
so they market their SSDs at such and such rating but in reality are way below
Good thing I have a seagate drive
seagate ssd? or hdd?
swapping components without announcing is the standard though
Crucial, Samsung, ADATA, who doesn't?
Just Sabrent and SiliconPower, no?
should i get a 870 evo or a 870 qvo
evo, depending on the price compared to its largest comptitors
QVO combines Samsung prices with QLC suckiness
yikes, evo is beyond my budget unfortunately
guess i getting two 870 evo 1tb
what about crucial mx500
L5 Lite 3D, MX500 (beware the firmware bug), SPA55
The MX500 firmware bug causes higher writes than expected and tools like CrystalDiskInfo or GSmartControl often report crazy drops in drive health, like 95% health after 6 months of use
yikes
so about m.2 ssds
which samsung m.2 should i get
the 980 pro, 980, 970 evo plus?
wait
980 isnt gen 4
970 plus is gen3 also
im generally looking for a m.2 ssd
just a good write speed for a good price
is the corsair mp600 a good choice?
just the mp600
Pro, core, force, they have a few
Samsung everything is overpriced, but the 980 Pro's price isn't as bad as their other SSDs, compared to the main alternatives
$100 less than double the price, so its a small, but existent improvement over the 860 when it was new
5k read and write, it looks nice
kinda good for what this build came out to be: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BnTB2V
its just the cherry on the shit hole
how much faster do you think random read speeds will get in the next few years?
affordable? barely unless Ubisoft or activision breaks the record with a 200 gb game
If only we could get ram speeds
still salty about hardware ramdrives being dead
Wait they aren’t a thing anymore?
Usb ram wen
it would be so nice
we can get something like 2GB/s out of one single PCIe lane now
just hooking up some DDR2 and a battery to a thunderbolt/USB-C connector could make for some bulky, but fast storage on the cheap
Would need to be mindful of that battery though
As long as you had something that could compress files super well and super quickly, and the battery was rechargeable and had an indicator for charge (maybe an 18650?), you could stuff a bucketload of things on it and have very fast transfers
or live USB environments where you don't load to load the whole OS into ram
NVMe drive speeds, sub-NVMe drive latency, low capacity, but super, super low price
I’d probably only keep the os on such a drive, wouldn’t want important files being thanos snapped should the battery die
If they could make one with a betavoltaic battery THEN I’d be sold
could throw some cheap, slow 16gb of SD card NAND on the board for a persistence partition
nuclear battery
Would last you pretty long
I suppose the market of people who want to move 32-64gb of files in under 5 seconds is pretty small
tiny capacity and fast speed, seems more people want it the other way around
That should be the future though imo
We already have really fast, relatively mainstream ssd’s so that should be the next step
Is.. that a DDR2 pci-e card with a battery?
are u a mod?
This one uses plain DDR, but yeah
No, I put that up to stop people DMing me for moderator shit.
What's the difference between 3200mhz and 3600mhz in RAM cards?
For intel CPUs not much, for AMD up to 10% performance difference
Ram timings also matter, usually people buy dual channel 3200 or 3600MHz C16
Oh
For intel cpu, I'll be fine with just 3200 mhz?
Or should I still go with 3600mhz?
which one you wanna buy?
I'm still looking for 3600mhz and I have intel cpu
what are your specs? and how much ram?
32gb ram and I'm still at the assembly page
But the CPU will be i9-10850k and GPU will be RTX 3070Ti
this one is perfect if you can find one -> https://www.gskill.com/product/165/184/1536116295/F4-3200C16D-16GVS
second
I found those in an online shop, cheaper than many retailers sell their ram cards too
Go with the rightmost one
all of these are fine. lower the C the better
C14 is best -- last one is also close to C14
This is what I found though
GSKILL RIPJAWS V F4-3600C18D-32GVK 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz DDR4 RAM(Sorry for the caps, I just copy pasted what's in the shop)
Ripjaws ver 5 f4
CL18, I would say top one is better
Send me a PC Partpicker link I'll edit for you
PC Partpicker link?
Your shop's link or pcpartpicker.com link for the whole build
Are you in US/UK/Canada?
No I'm not
And this is the one available in the online shop I found
what else do you have available there? this I dont like
Why?
timings too high
you can also give me the link of the shop so I can find something for you there
this is ok -> https://shopee.ph/G.SKILL-Trident-Z-Neo-(For-AMD-Ryzen)-Series-32GB-(2-x-16GB)-288-Pin-RGB-DDR4-SDRAM-DDR4-3200-(PC4-2-i.89762129.6840213163?position=2
but it's made for AMD (better buy AMD 5600x or 5800x wiith it)
The problem is PC shops recommend RTX 3070 over RX 6800 in flight sim
Because RX 6800 heats up more
so you're in PH right?
Sadly, yes
And this is the one you don't like
https://shopee.ph/GSKILL-RIPJAWS-V-F4-3600C18D-32GVK-32GB-(2x16GB)-3600MHz-DDR4-RAM-i.89762129.5078105322
Why sadly? some of the best esports teams in the world are in there
that's ok, acceptable
It's in discount though
Yeah, this must be luck
go here -> https://ph.pcpartpicker.com/list/HDQY3Z
click on edit this list, build then share the link again so other people comment on it
I personally prefer AMD build with that Trident Z ram made for AMD
They are just for cosmetics. but rams are different.
That's why I put MSI B550-A Pro in that build 👆
Duhh
Hello Ms. Melon
Good morning
I don't like cellphones. I personally don't use more than 5% of my cellphone functions.
It's just that when I let PC shops pick parts for me besides CPU and GPU, they put some RGB parts like RGB motherboards
waste of money paying extra for it, but meh people do that in the west.
whats the best pc parts shop online?
Those who I consulted with are not online shops
I think at this point all motherboards comes with rgb headers
Buy parts 1 by 1 - - @cold elbow B550-a pro
Those damn desktop salesmen are corrupt
All of that said buy that last ram 100% asap
says latency •Tested Latency: 16-18-18-38 in the description but is a C18 ram :/
I will
dont buy it it's crap
Oh good
Good thing I didn't buy it yet
The last shop I consulted with put a tforce delta rgb 3200mhz 2x16gb in the price quotation
Which is more expensive than the once I've seen
https://shopee.ph/G.SKILL-Trident-Z-Neo-(For-AMD-Ryzen)-Series-32GB-(2-x-16GB)-288-Pin-RGB-DDR4-SDRAM-DDR4-3200-(PC4-2-i.89762129.6840213163?position=4
this + a 5600x CPU
buy these first, then look for MSI B550-A Pro
32gb
That's why you wanna buy slowly, and one by one, so they don't push their shit to you.
What do you think about the tforce delta rgb 3200mhz 2x16gb?
That being said I'll stand by my cpu: amd 5600x motherboard: msi b550-a pro ram: trident z neo (for amd) 3600MHz C16 suggestion
3200MHz C16 is still fine but you have to be careful so they give you the C16 and not C18
Alright
I think so, I'm unfamiliar with that
acceptable (it's tforce delta 3200mhz)
Oh
This one's cheaper than that shop which gave me the recommendation
We were taught that when buying PC parts, we should always negotiate for lower price as much as we can
Like for example, if we're gonna buy an RX 6800, we must negotiate if we can get it at lower price
that's not a bad idea, but the thing is you negotiate and they sell you a crappy brand instead of real deal.
it's still 6800xt but not the same 🙂
so it's better to go and buy parts slowly, one by one so they can't scam you.
I mean, if it's same brand
there are still different types of cards under same brand
Oooh
Like for AMD graphics cards best brand is Sapphire
And for Nvidia?
EVGA in my opinion
Oh
The problem with PC shops here is if we don't negotiate, they'll jack the prices up
I know, you should find the lowest prices online then negotiate to get less.
And of course, GPU remains the biggest obstacle
I'm sure you can find one
Sapphire nitro+ 6800xt or 6800 are good
Or MSI/Asus/EVGA 3070 or 3070ti
I found some but the price is excessive
The lowest one I found for 3070Ti is said to be preorder
I'm cautious because they might close down after I pay for preorder
The brand for that 3070ti is Gigabyte
Oh, these are really low prices
this one is also good https://pcx.com.ph/shop/powercolor-red-devil-amd-radeon-rx-6700xt-12gb-gddr6-axrx-6700xt-12gbd6-3dhe-oc/
yeah you can check those and see if any shops in your country have them
that's en-us
Sad...
you have to pay for shipping from US to PH
Ph still have jacked up prices
this last 6700xt is ok I think, powercolor is like sapphire
Oh, I forgot
What are the advantages of these limited editions of GPUs such as RTX 3070 Gundam Edition?
Someone said that these "limited editions" or "special editions" are scams just to make people pay high prices and if we really want to spend money on GPUs, we're better off buying the next higher level GPU than special edition GPUs
Just marketing gimmicks
Same performance at a lot higher prices
Yeah it's marketing
Ofc it is
If I'm left with RTX 3070 special edition and RTX 3080, I'll just go with the 3080 because it'll only be a little more expensive than the 3070 special edition while having more to offer
Oh wait, ddr5 ram is already out
Companies flipped all kinds of special/limited editions during this shortage to make more profit
The problem is no current CPU are made to support it
They would rather make them than regular gpus with msrp
Clever...
yep, make a limited edition RTX 3090... 50 made worldwide... $750'000'000 per GPU. And all 50 would sell.
@lost fossil many pish
Very
What's the issue? I'll answer when I can.
Im thinking of upgrading later to T-LCM on a set of G29, but is there a way to tell those RJ-12 to USB adapter to fuck off? Because im not spending 40$ on a fucking dongle.
And the pricing wouldnt make sense because i can get T300RS and T-LCM for the same price of this upgrade later price.
With thrustmaster I only know about the flight stuff.
I heard that thrustmaster uses the same RJ-12 to USB on flight controls too.
I use Fanatec for driving stuff.
Ah yeah, I'm not sure though about your query though. Sorry:(
Ddr5 is already out and over 1 year old. Are you guys gonna buy it if you're gonna build new PC or still ddr4?
The problem is current Ryzen and Intel CPUs still stick with ddr4
who cares? unless you are part of pc master race trying to get highest performance on earth; who really cares?
"oh look I have a 240Hz monitor with 260 average fps, that's not enough let's make it 300-350"
unless you're heavily using it to compute. who really cares?
When do y'all think ATX12VO will become standardized?
I doubt we will see ddr5 being widely available until roughly 2025+ even 2027
AMD and Intel are too busy fighting each other for the best performance for the market to worry about moving to ddr5
Yeah, considering DDR4 was manufactured about 4 years before it was adopted.
Good point...
Well, I haven't seen issues with ddr5 but it could happen anytime
Since approximately 1 year and 2 months are still new
plus the average household and games havent reached a point where ddr5 poses significant benefits over ddr4
6000 series and 12th gen rumored to have DDR5 on release
Even 12th gen Intel was considered for 12VO conversion before basically every AIB flips a bird to intel for that idea.
i doubt it
If they have ddr5 support, their prices might easily go beyond 600 bucks
and reality is, the current gen saw so much improvements since the last in both terms of CPUs and GPUs that creating an entire new line of products especially during a world wide shortage of resources is extremely inconsiderate
even if this new gen gets ddr5 support, most people wouldn't spend the extra money
They want to earn money so they would be inconsiderate as they want to be
the market drives the economy
if people dont want to spend extra for ddr5, nobody will buy the new gen
even if the performance is so much better
Not really. As far as resources are concerned, it takes about the same amount of material as previous generation products, and don't forget they were working on new fab methods throughout the past few years.
until games start actually utilizing these high end gpus and cpus to its limits at 1080p or 2k, nobody has a need for ddr5 products
True, but hardware is usually manufactured before there is any need for its utilization, and developers take note of what resources are available at present time to create their software.
AMD has just revived its reputation as a reliable company for pc components, if they follow intel, they just lost the game
Meanwhile most CPU experts agree that DDR4 standard is bottlenecking the bigass cache that CPU nowadays ship with

What attracted me for ddr5 is they say that ddr5 will be faster while having less electric consumption
The reason Intel obtained their reputation is due to them rehashing the same fab method over and over again because AMD did not offer any meaningful competition until Ryzen released.
Ryzen 1000 and 2000 series had some pretty serious flaws. It wasn't until ryzen 3000 series released that most of those flaws were worked out.
GloFo 14nm is hot unreliable garbage, the only shit that saved it from FX level failure was because of Intel taking a deep nap in innovation
thats the point, the 5000 series greatly saw a change in monopoly of Intel cpus
Intel is grasping at straws right now trying to make 14nm+++++++∞ relevant until they figure out how to innovate again.
I guess current gen CPUs like Intel 10th and 11th gen and Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series will still be relevant for a long time.
Unless I'm wrong, maybe it's too early to say that these CPUs will be obsolete soon.
Good, it's about time both chipmakers compete against each other in a meaningful way.
Hopefully AMD hasn't become too comfortable being top dog.
@tame current that's not true at all
I like AMD Ryzen CPU but for GPU, I'm still doubtful.
These days a CPU will last you 3-5 years, back in the day (first gens of core i series and before) every 1-2 years computers changed drastically
Google "5600x MSRP"
They already are.

nvidia will hold onto the gpu crown for a while
Yes, they're comfortable with raising prices, but I'm hoping they're not too comfortable to continue to innovate.
I'm pretty sure you can use a 5600x+ a good motherboard for about 5 years (with good care)
if we are to spend extra money for extra innovation, im fine
I think that isnt over, because Zen 3 and Zen 4 gonna receive 5 and 3nm respectively
It was in one of AMD press release.
how stable? that's the question.
if intel wish to do the same, i respect that and if they give better performance, i might switch to intel
chips become less and less stable when transistors come closer
I'm curious what will happen once both AMD and Intel hits the quantum limit.
but as current benchmarks stand, AMD prices grow along side its performance
Betting war on D-Wave?
they will start to push features
same thing nvidia did; oh we're at the top of the curve? raytracing
TBF, raytracing is a massively good feature.
Nvidia isnt even on TSMC cutting edge line though, isnt it still 12nm?
Oh, 7.
Nvm
raytracing is like...
Fuck raytracing, gimme DLSS
making games look like mirrors
Geforce 30 series uses Samsung 8nm process.
Intel's gonna have some weird features soon mark my words
This CPU will tickle your motherboard, they will say
I mean, is timed boost when your competitor is already thermal based a weird feature?
Asking for a friend.
It's not just that, but realistic reflections. For instance, a buffed marble floor looks like it would in real life, bouncing light off but not exactly reflecting features.
Basically an opaque reflection.
I'm interested in knowing if ARM processors will start being supported by game devs.
@kindred temple https://www.logitechg.com/de-de/products/gaming-keyboards/pro-x-keyboard-accessory-kit.html do you know if there's a chance to buy a single switch? I only need to replace one uwu
No dice, you gonna need a whole kit.
Logi GX are like several mm wider than MX.
And AFAIK theres no small count switch sellers for them.
Generally, for small components like this, you generally can only buy in bulk. For instance, I only needed 3 75ohm resistors to convert a VGA to DVI adapter into a dummy plug, but I had to buy 200 of them for $3.
Okay 🥺
Thanks :(
Other question
Any chance I can fix my space bar
Which keeps hitting twice
Even tho I only press it once
It uses those switches ^

Noctua fitted... PBO enabled... now to run this PC like a beast
ok, so I have 4 monitors, and a VR headset. Is there any way to go between 4 monitors and VR (even if I have to disable certain things temporarily) without having to unplug and replug the devices, with an RTX 3070. New GPU is not happening.
sounds like an overkill pc
Advanced streaming stuff
Be like XQC, be
2 monitors, shitty mic, shitty camera, dirty clothes, MacDonalds, coca cola
Since I use an ATEM Mini Pro ISO. I've tried plugging the HDMI into the ATEM for one of the monitors, and it'll then daisychain from the 6x2 splitter to the monitor itself fine, but not the ATEM (it is running within ATEM spec)
So yeah, I'm wanting to know how to make this work without changing my hardware. I don't want to be like XQC, etc.
back in the day there was this samsung 3x1 or 3x2 monitor wall
you could daisychain them using one dp cable
Yeah, I'm not sure if I can daisychain though unfortunately 😦

Got an (admittedly stupid) question. Can enabling UEFI in the bios fix boot issues with windows 10 on a c2q desktop?
What is C2Q?
That question aside, on a modern computer you want to use UEFI + GPT + secure boot; just enabling UEFI won't do much if you have your hard disk set to MBR.
Core2Quad
If the motherboard supports UEFI, you should do a uefi+gpt+ntfs installation if possible.
If the drive is using MBR you will need to format the whole thing and convert it to GPT for this to work + you need a UEFI windows usb drive.
Yeah, been having an issue with my father's PC lately where it sometimes doesn't recognize the boot drive. It was forcibly upgraded to windows 10 from 7 when M$ was pulling that shit
I went into the bios and found UEFI was not enabled.
Why is that an issue
yeah do a uefi + gpt reinstall -- also send us a disk management page screenshot
Unfortunately, only he knows the password and he's at work right now
I'm going to work as well in a bit and won't be back until 10PM MST.
I was wondering if enabling UEFI may fix the issue with it not recognizing the boot drive sometimes.
Are kingston m.2 bad i just got a basic 240gig one when i bought the pc before it took like 20s from power button to lock screen now its like 30+ even tho i think ive only added 1 program extra to the startup list
Before I take more... invasive measures.
do u know the write/read speeds?
No, they're usually reliable. How is the drive formatted? I've noticed FAT32 tends to slow down SSDs, so I recommend it's set up as NTFS.
Dont know if its the right model but according to amazon only 500 and 450 huh thats really low isnt it
That's about typical for a SATA SSD, which I assume it is.
There's m.2 SATA and m.2 NVME
strelec
Ah yeah then its sata
nvme is usually quad digit read and write
I could try that if he's not available tomorrow. Right now, I'd like to know if enabling UEFI may solve the boot device recognition error.
When I formatted my 980 it went stock NTFS, when I tried Fat 32 like you said it was slower. I had a problem a couple months back where my pc would blue screen. I thought it was my m.2, but it turned out it was my ram stick that was corrupted so I trashed it, and it fixed all my problems.
Plus Nvme drives are faster than Sata anyway, I just went with a Nvme vs Sata.
antonline is America’s premier online retailer of cutting edge computer technology and consumer electronics.
3080 ARE OUT
they do have an offer for a gtx 1660 for 200~
That's good news
WHY THE FUCK DO YOU FORMAT SSDS AS FAT32?
I don't. I've seen SSDs formatted with FAT32 before that ran way slow.
Think OEM units.
I always format with NTFS personally.
Also, the external SSD I purchased from costco before I tore out the m.2 drive and stuck it in my PC was formatted with FAT32.
I changed that shit to NTFS as fast as I could.
Anyone know a way to install macOS but have it install very quickly with as little bloat as possible? I plan to only use it for publishing iOS apps and running Java/Python, the 22gb of other Apple stuff in the install file won't be used at all
VM or on a mac machine?
apple hardware, VM or host will do
Running macOS natively or in vm on non-apple hardware is uh, something something "Permitted License Uses"
need something like a "macOS lite," I guess. I plan to reinstall maybe once or twice a week
macOS Monterey and OS X Big Sur Hackintosh instructions, tutorials, step-by-step how to guides and installation videos; Hackintosh systems, parts and more.
that is what it's called :/ @kindred temple
that's uhh
modifying the OS in any way puts it into hackintosh category
I considered but it focuses on violating the apple licensing part and the install image size is the same 28gb
o?
that's just how it is. have you ever realized they never put any images directly on their website?
pulling it out of recovery (to make an image) by itself is a hack.
that is completely true. however whether or not using modified OSX on another machine is illegal is up for debate.
I personally don't think it is, since the OS is not a separate product sold by Apple.
EULAs/Terms aren't legally binding by default, yeah
I don't like the thought of being involved in the slightest. Being banned off the app store permanently would suck
I don't think that's possible on a modified virtual machine version of OSX. They can't really prove it's even OSX.
Just like Windows 10, MacOS like skins. Unless you sell it for money to masses, then it becomes a problem.

Which mobo do you recommend that have pcie 4.0 for the gpu and Ryzen 5000 series socket
b550a msi
probably the cheapest u can get

I've heard of Prusa before. Gotta check it out. These were the two I was looking at.

On a pre built i’m i unable to add new components?
Seeing a good cheap pc on amazon but got no ssd
depends, which one? what's the motherboard?
let's see
first off I wouldn't buy this, ADMI offers something better and you can build your own with monitor for around 700 pounds
second, the board is A320 which usually support SSD
This one I recommend instead -> https://www.awd-it.co.uk/awd-ryzen-5-5600g-volt-with-amd-vega-graphics-pc-for-gaming.html
and here is the custom build you can do yourself which is far better -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3P5I8E40QK1FC?ref_=wl_share
Ooo much better
Fierce RGB Gaming PC - AMD Ryzen 5 3400G 4.2GHz, AMD Vega 11 Graphics, 8GB 3000MHz
that's not what fierce means
That Amazon list is a gem. I made it after weeks if not months of looking for a good pc for @jovial tide
ADMI is ok too but you have to customize it a bit.
@jovial tide that first link I can’t choose an ssd for secondary storage
All just hdd’s
let me show you
first link you choose -> **special offer * ram vengeance 2x8 3200MHz
special offer western digital sn550 1tb as primary
secondary seagate barracuda 1-2tb your choice
operating system none
internet security none
wifi Tenda (if you need wifi)
the motherboard doesn't have two places for SSD so the secondary drive is usually hdd
Ooh so does primary storage mean an m.2 or ssd and secondary means the one outside your motherboard?
So usually yes, you wanna put a m.2 nvme ssd on the motherboard, and a hard disk in the case.
You can get 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch SSDs which are not M.2 and do the same, the price will be much higher
But yeah, I'll highly recommend the one on the amazon list. that has better parts all around compared to these pre/custom builts. and if you feel like you're running out of space, you can always order a hdd/sata ssd later on.
But then if i wanna add a graphics card later on will i be able to?
And the monitor is definitely not worth it. £135 for 75hz
That's the point of the build. yes you can and it will perform very well.
Well what are the better options for 130-140 pounds? also if you have one you don't have to buy one.
This 144hz for £130 if i buy right now

As they're in the UK, I can recommend PC Specialist.
Please send a 500-700 pound build here
I'll look later on, I'm a bit busy right now.
I just recommend PCS as I got my PC from them and they were great
Perfect man, thanks for the comment
But at the £500-700 range it might be a bit slim pickings. Since you custom spec them, but might be worth looking at their "next day PCs"
gah, looks like they don't do next day PCs
https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers-next-day/pc/ nevermind then. And they don't have anything in the £500-700 range. It jumps from £370 to £950?
PCSpecialist is a manufacturer of high-quality prebuilt PCs and laptops with a range available for same-day dispatch. Buy a prebuilt next day PC or next day laptop for working, gaming or sharing.
Yep, just had a look on the config, at £500-700 a custom spec isn't gonna really happen either... ADMI might be the only option, since I assume we need a dGPU?
For that price I built this https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3P5I8E40QK1FC/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1?_encoding=UTF8&type=wishlist
ah, if we go for the no dGPU option, then we might be able to whip something up
https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-am4-gen3-pc/ I'd say see what you can whip up there within the budget then
PCSpecialist is an award-winning manufacturer of high quality custom PCs & Laptops. Configure the AMD Am4 Gen3 PC to your ideal requirements.
yeah 5600G + good specs
@jovial tide look at this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08KP4XPRS
It's like £30 more but it better
Alr
Yes it's twice as good. 144Hz instead of 75Hz

The whole environment surrounding JS frontends is toxic and must be purged
Just getting the VueJS cli fills the terminal with DEPRECATED and SEVERE SECURITY WARNING
and of course it needs to download over 4000 files
Its an official, standard tool, why is it like this
Can anyone explain to me why (3+2i)^2 is equal to 5+12i ?
i is an imaginary number
ok so complex plane
(3 + 2i) to the power of 2 is 9 + 6i + 6i + 4i*2 correct?
i to the power of 2 is -1 so we have 9 + 12i -4 = 5 + 12i
why that is, is because we define square root of -1 as i therefore i^2 by definition is -1 @nova sorrel

Dell's cheap cheap cheap
but its still a laptop
just a much better laptop than you're used to
The SSD is probably doing LOADS for it feeling responsive though
do u know where i can get a Geforce gtx 1050 ti max-q
lots of laptops, even today, are using hard drives for the OS
why 1050ti? you can get 1660 nowadays
The max-Q can't be purchased separately
idk i just saw it run good things
is it better?
it's good yeah a 1660 laptop's good enough
im looking for a pc one
good enoug for what
well PC doesn't have max-q or max-p
well whats a good graphics card for fh4
1660 is much better but suffers from the same pricing/stock issues as the 1650 we discussed earlier
Anything good is overpriced, anything bad is overpriced, and anything existent is out of stock
you have a better chance getting a 3060 or 3060 ti at a sane price than the 16 series though, since they're still being produced and restocked
find anything like 6700/6700xt/6800/6800xt/3060/1660/1650/3060/3070/3070ti
it's like fishing you have to look for it at the right time to catch the fish

3,068,058,820,152,164,904

Alright let's up the ante. What is 3,068,058,820,152,164,904^3,068,058,820,152,164,904 (and yes that's a sign for "to the power of")
You aren't gonna be able to use a calculator for that one, it'll error out. :D
I hate you very much
Everyone hates me very much so...
Delete math off this channel
well i hate you more than them
Yeah calling it tech coding math probably wasn't the best idea.
fyi it equals undefined
I mean there will be a number for it. It's just what is that number going to be because it's going to be a massive number.
♾
im not even in 3rd year of high school man
Now that would be a fun one to break even the most insane mathematician... ♾^♾
it would just equal that
I don't think there's a definitive answer for that, other than writing it as it is, because infinity isn't a defined number, it's just ♾️
Well no because you're multiplying infinity by itself, infinitely. So it's larger than ♾
Yes, but technically there is no larger number than infinity
It's similar to dividing something by 0
or multiplying by zero
Either way, it equals the same
Multiplying by 0 is just 0...
Exactly\
However dividing by zero... that's not 0...
There's nothing above infinity, as it's the largest number
I didn't mean that
Also... ♾/0️⃣
I've used my brain enough today
That's going to make every mathematician in the world plot my demise.
yep
And they're doing to do it... using differential equations.

As token of appreciation I will buy u gta 50 when it comes out
Should I make a new installation of windows 10 or wait for 11 release
My windows files are corrupted and the system feels kinda slow
It's fine @severe pebble but depends on your laptop model
i mistakenly disabled the network interface on my server
stupidest thing i have ever done
Is it compatible with 11? Reinstall win 10 then upgrade to 11.
Hahhahaha
yes
to be safe u need to install windows 10 with what the 11 needs like having a TPM and secure boot enabled
Install win10 first then update
for me nothing interests me in win 11
I have Ryzen 3600,gtx 1660 ti,16gb 3200 and 1tb Samsung 860 evo
Is it compatible?
if your motherboard has a TPM 2.0 module, yes
I have ryzen 7 5800x, rtx 3050, 16gb ram, along with 512gb ssd
Should be enough to run basically any game fairly smooth
Right?
MSI b450 gaming pro carbon max WiFi
hmm how did you find 3050 for desktop?
Nah it's laptop alright
so it's not 5800x, so what's the laptop model @severe pebble
I don't think you need the mobo to support it because the module is in the cpu itself
really? 🤨
It can be on the CPU die, on the chipset die, or your board's UEFI can do some software magic and tell the PSP/IME to do it
Ah wait it's 5800H
Windows 11 compatability is crazy tight
That WBPT exploit looks interesting
Is iris xe graphics card run gta 5 smoothly?
it can run fine but dont expect 60FPS

Banned C9 VIPER 💙_🤍#7399 (Case #121164) (user notified with a direct message)
but is he supposed to not mention them?
They do get a lil nitpicky about stuff
But i think that's because they mostly review the high end stuff
So if they actually have a budget thing, it looks way worse than it actually might be
he does not focus on the thing that budget fames care about
that's the thing
and spend half of the video talks about shit like the keyboard or the speakers
or .... touchpad lmao
Needs bios update to be on
Yeah but it was there the whole time.
Also, why do you have to care about performance when build quality is so much easier to talk about?
Motherboard is mux (aka nvidia optimus) capable. they just updated it for 4k (called advanced optimus)
Laptops are ass to be reviewed because you dont have every laptop on earth
that's another reason
like do u know why people buy cheap gaming laptops?
he wants it to have very solid build quality with no flex
Because they think that performance is everything and dont understand that you buy a full experience with a laptop not just what inside
Who's they in your message
Because lets be 100, most desktop replacement use case scenarios are BYOD office worker and disowned children.
most people asking for that kind just want a good computer that run their game and does not overheat

they will use mouse and headset anyways
comparing a cheap gaming laptop to a dell XPS
PC
Again, in my opinion
.
can someone help me. i played gta and then my monitor turned much whiter and darker pls help me. he dont got so much colours now
Playing the game shouldn't cause anything like that. Restart the system its connected to and power cycle the monitor. If it persists after a restart, narrow down if its the monitor that decided to act weird or if the game changes some Windows color setting by checking the colors in your UEFI or connecting something different to the monitor
If its the latter, Windows' display settings menu displays options to revert any changes made to color
Whats a power cycle ?
turn it off, unplug from the wall and anything else that's getting electricity, wait 10 seconds, hold the power button for a bit, wait 10 more, and plug everything back in

This video is all about the new SignalRGB application and why it's so amazing! It can sync all your rgb devices from multiple brands and much more!
Download SignalRGB: https://bit.ly/SignalRGB-AK
Music: https://youtu.be/whG2kxubpak
being closed source really sucks for this
but unlike with OpenRGB, the SignalRGB people have money
don't tell me they're mining bitcoin on the LED controllers inside the light strips
i tried openrgb on 2 of my computers that have rgb capabilities and unfortunately it didn't work very well
such a small team taking on a large task 😦
SignalRGB having its whole account system and a paid requirement to use half its features is so wack
and then they don't provide an SDK and bindings to contribute a lightscript for certain software
Im in their server and tried their software
They're very slow when it comes to adding devices but quick on adding games add-ons
Submitted to add my board like 2 months ago
Well if it works for everything it's worth it
Yeah, and it won't try to control everything else
Currently it only supports my ram and mouse
You install a NZXT cam software and it'll try to consume your soul
Jokes on it i have no soul
I've seen people GPU throttling just because of software like that; once a guy was clock limited because of those programs.
Well in your case, it'll try to blow the soul into you
I remember my old 1060 strix had oc that can only be enabled by their OC software
And fans headers as well
And guess what
That oc profile that they heavily advertise only gives you like 10+ on the core

hahahaha Nvidia Geforce Experience overlay auto tuning gives you more than that
EXTREMEEE OVERCLOOCKINNNNGGGG +10MHz
my 1080 ti often gets stuck at 200mhz core after boot so i have to fiddle with afterburner for a minute to get it up to spec again

i've ddu'd this particular windows at least 10 times
doesn't bother me too much anyway bc that 1080ti is a silicon lottery winner apparently
try uninstalling all programs that have cpu/gpu tuning active capabilities.
then use GeForce Experience autoscan feature (alt + z -> performance -> enable automatic tuning) it will make you a safe and stable oc profile.
the problem too many programs try to "automatically control" hardware resources, then it becomes a dilemma.
It's not easy to find that one software that left some garbage that mess with the gpu
Even if u remove them
Well Ms. Melon, I've helped people (lots of people) in gta-tech-support
it always worked.
random Steam indie game leaves set_gpu_idle.exe in your startup folder on uninstall
kinda cba tbh
maybe when i eventually do a clean install on this ssd that i bought almost 2 months ago...
this installation is almost 3yo
oh wow. that's a problem.
software is toxic
Things are messed up when a 3 year old install is considered problematic
Oleg, I think you should be able to install OS on that, remove the boot and recovery partitions on this one then convert current primary drive to a nomral one instead of bootable
You won't lose any files like this
well he did say he wants to install on a new ssd he bought. and this is another disk so.
Bootloader is still going to throw itself onto the old one if its plugged in
my current drive has almost 300 tbw tho
