One thing to note though, EVGA's 3090s manufactured in 2020 have poor soldering too, but they stand by their warranty. Gigabyte is like "lol, tough luck".

Basically all modern gpus are compatible with all motherboards with PCI-E slots. however, the big thing you need to figure out is whether or not a CPU will bottleneck said GPU at a specific resolution.

#

Most higher end GPUs will be bottlenecked by most CPUs at 1080p, but usually are not bottlenecked at 1440p or 4k for example.
