And plus Asus was the only one that had enough USB ports on the motherboard itself.

As it was a prebuilt due to the current component shortage making DIY impossible for me. I was limited in motherboard options. And if I wanted to make sure I had RGB on my graphics card which I did, I had to go Asus ROG to guarantee it.

So for motherboard and graphics card, I wanted Asus. For power supply I went for Phanteks as only they offered the power supply I wanted (very specialised power supply)

the best part you can salvage is the lcd panel, with a lcd-driver you can turn it into another useful stand-alone monitor
the other part is the microphone/vga camera, although some hardware manufacturers may not follow the usb protocols in that case you cant do much, unless you find those part's datasheet
