Any emulator that uses OpenGL mainly is going to be terrible on Windows because the SteamDeck has an AMD iGPU
Anything RetroArch is significantly faster on Linux, Dolphin should be used on Linux for the games that have less bugs on OpenGL, RPCS3 has more free ram to work with on Linux, PCSX2 almost requires OpenGL, etc.
though, having all of your emulators in one place is definitely easier on Windows thanks to CEMU and its shady history
