At the very least the high-end ones, same situation as the GPUs basically (like GT 1030s and GT 710s are fine, but pretty much anything above that and you're getting scalped out the wazoo)

Always work, and you dont need new keys (from so much reinstall, Microsoft just invalidate your key) if you have a less legal way to activate it (or live with the activate windows watermark)

If none, that could really be any all-in-one system made by any company, or it could just be a wired display + digitizer with the actual computer components elsewhere. You can load Windows 8 on just about anything too, it likely could've been a Windows 7 all-in-one or a larger PoS system or something Linux-based with a theme, hard to say what specifically it was

So ever since starting to use my TV as a secondary display I'm having a bit of trouble maintaining my primary monitor setting. If I turn on my PC, the primary monitor consistently switches to my TV instead of my monitor, despite having the monitor specified as primary before shutting down. Any thoughts?

Whichever is closest to what is defined as port 0 gets its output first, regardless of software setting. If you have others, try moving the TV's cable to the other end of the GPU's ports (If the monitor's cable is the leftmost connected to your GPU, make the TV's cable the leftmost, or vice versa)
