I'm not sure how to take these photos tbh. But what I'm seeing here is that at each shade of grey, the colour was evenly distributed and there are no visual defects.
The pictures are supposed to represent 3 shades of grey. The camera somehow messed it up and it is showing the local dimming to be horrible which is not the case .
