Granted, those fake frames do make the game smoother

And they’re only getting better in terms of visual quality

But conceptually framegen is pretty damn good if it’s used to boost performance

You want smoother experience with lower latency use DLSS+antilag, you will get slight visual downgrade but much smoother experience and much lower latency.

Framegen is just a technology used to advertise a product, haven't seen anyone seriously using it except the people that are unaware about anything and only like to see a number go higher, they're probably running their 144hz monitor on 60hz and xmp off.

Only logical use for framegen is for couch gamers with a controller, otherwise you will feel the jitter and visual artifacts

your drive shouldn't be wiped at all, but check and see if you can get settings to match what they may have been (maybe it switched to RAID from AHCI, or you had MBR + Legacy boot and it's looking for GPT + UEFI, or you had some drive encryption stuff going on)

Windows is what provides the bluescreen, so if you're getting the bluescreen every time, you can recover
