@thin turtle Let's say the benchmark has no software bottleneck at all and can fully utilize any CPU it runs on. CPU1 has twice as many threads, but CPU2's threads are faster. The benchmark can use extra threads on CPU1 to handle reading from disk and writing into ram, while CPU2's system spends the extra time it has after it finishes processing to move things into ram
(also, if the benchmark conditions aren't controlled and listed very specifically for you to read, the answer is that the other components are probably different, or the system with higher usage has a much higher uptime)

Since your GPU is so [relatively] short, you can just do two fans (intake) in the bottom rear of the case. If you do add a bottom third, you can really just add one exhaust to the top rear and it'll be fine
