a firewall appliance would be a physical box that all the traffic between 2 networks goes through to be looked at, inside it could be basic ACL's to deep packet inspection. A application firewall is generally at level 7 and mainly for http/https, ftp, ssh etc and can also act as a proxy so it can see raw unencrypted data that a firewall appliance couldnt see because of TLS

Hi everyone. Not sure if this is where I should ask but I’m wondering what advice you’d have for someone trying to build a pc for the first time.
So far I’ve researched and found a 5070ti but I would have to get a ryzen 5 7600x instead of a 9600x to fit my budget. The psu I found is a gigabyte 750w 80+ gold fully modular one. The ram is 32gb 6000mhz and the ssd is 1tb PCIe 4.0 with write speeds up to 7000MB/s. the motherboard is a gigabyte gaming b850 AM5 ATX motherboard. The fan and cases I cheaped out on for a total of around 1800 USD. Is this a good build for 4k gaming at 60fps+ with rt on sometimes
