And looking in MSI afterburner the CPU temp is acting really strange, randomly spiking even on idle, or when I open something it’ll go from 30-40 to 65-70 in less than a second

So I’m wondering if the temp sensor could be faulty and causing it to think it’s overheating therefore shutting off?

I’ve tested my ram and also tried removing the GPU and changed the PSU

Cpu temp that you is is called hot spot temp or hottest core... it doesn't represent the actual temperature

Use a tool like HWInfo and there you can see a sensor called T average or Tdie something...

This can also mean that your paste application is not good or your cooler is not mounted correctly because it's not cooling all the cores.

my cpu is running too hot all of a sudden after power supply swap

My power supply went out and i changed it previously i had a fully modular power supply that was 1000watts but after it quit working i swapped it out for a 600 watt power supply which is a semi modular power supply and before on the 1000watt power supply i was able to plug in 1 and a half slots or (12pins) for my cpu now with the 600 watt semi modular power supply im only able to plug in 1 (8)pins would this be the reason for the cpu running so hot because it cant get enough power possibly?

Is your PSU's fan facing the inside of the case? There's a chance this smaller one runs hotter and is dumping heat at your CPU cooler. Shouldn't be a large difference unless your case is an oven though

Got a good grade on it aswell

SQL is just a tool to manage databases an example is MySQL which is beginner friendly

Ye i have a sql module, data analytics, cloud computing with AWS

Then some business related modules

Honestly don’t know at this point, i picked my degree as it included both business aspects and featured coding/data aspects which is someone i’ve been interested in but scared to start

Going into second semester now i am enjoying the coding modules
