Here are my specs: Intel i5-10210, 24gb ram, 12gb intel uhd 620
Ok so I was previously getting like 50fps in gta story mode and 35-40fps in gta online, I know its not much but yeah im on a laptop (plugged in)

A few days ago I set my power plan to ultimate performance (even though its not recommended for laptops) and suddenly my fps in gta online went to like 55-60fps
Was doing a mission with the power plan when the game crashed with an GFX_D3D error, I believe its because ultimate performance is unstable so I switched back to high performance

Now the problem is,
Whenever Im playing gta online after the crash even on high performance/balanced plugged in, Im not able to get past the 20fps mark even though I was always above 35fps in online.
This is just happening after the game crashed so I think I might get a fix here?

My technical doubt here is did I just kill my gpu with that ultimate plan or what?

I don't think you can kill your gpu by that but maybe.... just maybe the head ruined your thermal paste
So first thing to check is your temperatures and try to completely remove your GPU drivers by using DDU and install it again.
