BTW, the program "lossless scaling" on steam does frame gen too. It's $7.

I haven't tested it extensively, but it is a hit or miss with some games. It works exceptionally well on Tarkov, but is garbage on Ready or Not.

I've been using chill for years because it drops fps while my pc is idling which in turn drops power usage and then less heat in the room

This feature should be in all games or at least drivers and now only seen like AMD drivers and somewhat similar implementation in call of duty where it drops your fps in menus and drops it even more if the game window is not the active one (alt+tabbing)
