I would say the connectors and your tools to make that connectors are very important to make a good cable

There are cheap once that end up making bad contacts so u have to do them again or the pins made of bad metal that with time will cause issues due to corrosion

Not to mention that they are usually hard to work with so buy good and easy to install connectors

If its the latter, you might get some use out of breaking your program into libraries and modules and importing/including.
For IDEs specifically, depends on which. Android Studio has a button that ignores the folders and separates things into code, resources, layouts, etc. IntelliJ/Eclipse have a separate "packages" view that does the same.

I'm at a crossroads. I have come by an extra low-level PC for light gaming from a friend to give to someone else. It is a decommissioned Dell Workstation that cannot be moved to a new case, with ddr4 ram and no GPU. The small case and proprietary sizes means there is no upgrade path for this PC. It is as it is.

I picked it up to give to friend A. A plays primarily on Xbox and has a kid, he says he doesn't have room for mkb type setup. Undaunted, I feel like if he had a PC he could drop the Xbox, and just play on PC, because ms games are available on PC and he can even use the controller. He won't have money to upgrade any pc he has anyway, so the lack of upgradability is fine until it can't run anymore.

Friend B is always on the verge of homelessness and inability to play games, but wants a PC to learn "valuable skills like coding" but also play games. He usually has a place to hook it up but at the same time may want to play things this PC simply won't handle.

Who do I give it to

Car radio question

When using a multimeter on the wires, I get around 5v

but when a speaker is plugged in, no audio. I'd rather not cut the factory wiring to see what happens to the voltage though. The pins in the radio and its connector look intact. I've yet to continuity test though, but all other speakers work. Any speaker plugged into that channel outputs nothing, even if they work in other channels.

Is it safe to assume the problem is with the radio itself, or is there something else I should look at?

I did. My current workaround to make the radio listenable is to do 100% back, which sounds horrendous because the back speakers are irredeemable garbage. The right door speaker pops when volume is above 5 and the left door speaker is the one not working.
