High end parts tend to drop in price the most.

4090 is a beast and i dont think you will regret it but intel..... well that's a shit show of a cpu

well, to be exact, most of the weight will be on your CPU's shoulder because when a windows software is launched on linux, an intermediary software is needed to translate the executable instructions from windows to linux (like Wine), and that is a big overhead on the CPU, but if you've got a powerful CPU it will not be sensible.

unfortunately i have no experience in that, but if your GPU is AMD, you are blessed in linux

your job is much much simpler with AMD on linux

in fact, AFAIK, your GPUs driver is already available in the repositories, although the drivers in the repos are open-source, there are also proprietary drivers on AMD website i think.

you can do a search about that, but something im sure about is that the driver installation is much simpler with AMD.

all these fans with proprietary connectors (except corsair with their most recent one, and maybe a couple others) use 6 or 7 wires and these correspond to 4pin pwm fan and 3pin 5v argb, so they can be adapted to fit a motherboard connector with some dupont wires

older lian li fans actually used real 4pin pwm + 3pin argb cables to connect to the hub so you could just directly connect them to the mobo

i used some 4 pin fan extension cables and some dupont wires to adapt thermalfake swafan fans to use mobo fan control for the fan itself and their rgb box for the rgb

to answer your question, it depends on whether fancontrol has support for the fan box that you have, i think l-connect allows you to change fan control to use the mobo pwm signal, in that case it's really simple to set it up

lianli fan box has a 4pin pwm cable (with just one wire ) to control fans with your mobo, if you enable that option in l-connect then it's very ez to set it up to work with fancontrol

Well, by changing the cable, the technicians burned a chip on my motherboard. So now you either have to solder that chip or change the motherboard. The 1 Tb hard drive and the SSD are out to be able to get the information. Interested parties ask privately to reach an agreement. The laptop worked wonderfully.
