the only objective benefit nvidia has over amd in terms of software is that their recorder locks onto the game and only records the game itself unless you enable desktop capture whereas with amd it detects the game but it basically still just records the desktop

what i did years ago is i got another ssd and moved the biggest user libraries to a folder on that drive

so like, my desktop, videos, pictures are all there on a different drive

note that i didn't move user appdata and other system folders like that
