Idek what MSAA is
There are "laptops" with desktop GPUs
Are they full desktop GPU though?
yes
With same clocks?
Yes
Also, should I get gta from epic games store or steam
Anti-aliasing so it makes it look less pixelated
It's literally the same plate with different fans
But those probably cost like 5000$ or more
????
But doesn't they have make some compromises though? What about RTX 4090?
Answer pls
Whichever you like the most
Also I can have my PS4 account on my laptop right
no
You can't transfer your progress from console to PC

You can get the ps app on PC and stream from console tho
I had to start GTA Online over against, because I switched to PC as well
So technically you can login to ps from your computer
But I had a big break between PS4 and PC GTA
nah I’m good then lmfao I rather wait for gta 6 at that point and just get that on my laptop
I don’t get it tho
what if I’m signed into epic games from my PS4 account
and I get gta on epic games
It wouldn't let you transfer progress from PS4 though
So like, I’m gonna be lvl 1?
I think so
I don't have experience over that
You said you had to start over too?
I never connected my PS4 account to PC
I just made new Rockstar Social Club accout
I used to play on PS4 in 2015 and I started again at 2020 so it wasn't huge loss
Because GTA Online was pretty barebones in 2015 compared to today
And main reason why I went back to GTA Online was RDO
I thought RDO could had been better game than GTA Online, but how wrong was I
Lemme send u a YT video I found
Alright

It’s old
But he does make a bit sense
I’m willing to try and waste 30 bucks, as long as I can still play on my PS4 with my original account and not restart all over again on my PS4 too
They do
while True:
try:
input_num = input('Enter 3 numbers: ')
numbers = [float(num) for num in input_num.split()]
if len(numbers) != 3:
raise ValueError('Please enter exactly 3 numbers.')
min_number = numbers[0]
for num in numbers[1:]:
if num < min_number:
min_number = num
print('The minimum number is:', min_number)
break
except ValueError as e:
print(f'Invalid input: {e}')
Pay up

Literally the opposite
U is the power saving cpus for laptops
And what’s H then
higher perormance CPUs usually cpus for gaming laptops
oe heavy workloads
U usually for thin and light laptops or cheap

0:5...
I’m gonna buy this.
It runs gta5 at 160 fps.
So it’s could enough.
Good*
But I might improve the ram
thats just an expensive version of what i made you lol
It’s way cheaper
I just added random stuff because I was just checking it outs
It’s like 1000
Its motherboard kinda bad as well
plus its 1099 base, and mine was 1016 base, better mobo and already upgraded ram
yea so does the umart one, for 80 ish bucks cheaper
You should't base your purchases on GTA 5
that's just going to make the purchase worse
theyre not really listening to us lol, they just keep sending prebuilts n asking "if this is good" or they ask for help n then just ignore the help lol, day 5 today
Bro I’m just trying to buy something good.
the 3d aspect or circuits
circuits
Nice, its pretty good
I used to use these boards manually, so I know some of it
some
there's alot of the stuff I never touched, so I am gonna have some fun with this later
ah ye, theres a lot there to do, and some pretty cool things people have made you can load up. Im more doing the AVR side with the programming
What about this pc.
no i think that one may blow up
How.
1,4k for that?
uhh why is it so expensive for last gen CPU tech
Yeah.
Idk ppl say it runs gta 5 on max graphics
Again why does GTA 5 of all things matter? You have a Series S/X to play GTA there
AUD
Ah
And forza
Is there windows 11 or smth
For that
yes if you get umart to install it
Does anyone know how to make a video corrupt? (Like unable to be opened)
change the filetype
right click, edit in notepad, scroll down a bit, change a few things add more stuff, save. tada
I would change the ram and mobo
where did you get 1.3, it says 1.15
Windows 11 and build the pc
shouldnt need to add that to cart, theyll put it on anyway
just be unregistered
n you can buy a cheaper key later
Doit
What Ethernet
are you sure about that
waiting for the exclusive windows 9 key 🔥
I'm going for the PS5 @blazing barn @cold elbow@jade pivot
I can afford that PC with my salary but the costs, maintenance, not being portable is a turn off for me. Plus I will get a gaming monitor since it has a faster input response time then a TV so I can use the PS5 with this and my laptop for work
I feel I am going to take care of a baby because theres so much money going into the PC that if anything were to happen to it would hurt me lol
And most of my IRL mates are on console and fewer on PC so thats my reasoning to go for the PS5

hehehe
4 dollars a month
that's 4 dollars in a multibillion dollar corporation's pocket and not yours
a good exchange 🤝
or is it
get it it's a box

Shit i would build
I’m gonna get this rn
🔥
Is it good. I think it’s good and worth it
This has to be the most painful ebay auction loss yet
Latitude E7470 for $30... so close
And not even to the max bid system. Just got outskilled.
Is the pc good? Kind of a bit late since I bought it.
it’s ok
but wow i’m surprised u actually bought one 😭
thought it was gonna be endless questions
lol
nah he selected the liquid cooler
he had box cooler and air cooler as available alternative options
saved -120 aud
Yes
I still have time to change it
Yeah?
what the fuck
How else they gonna charge you 4x more

Anyway im watching GN review of the 14600K
it's 1460/0 faster than other models
xeon is not an equivalent, it's for servers
Welp your 200 loss i guess lol
how
its worse then what i suggested and costs more
The one you suggested costed 1.3K
I can just switch it
na dont worry
I mean atleast it runs gta
On high settings?
probably not
Mk
heres the PC you brought just in Umart
-1 the water cooler since a 5500 doesnt really need it
I mean the original price of the pc is 1,049
yea this one has a better mobo
Oh well nvm, it doesnt actually say what mobo specifically
Is this where I bring tech questions
So I recently got a head seat mic from GameStop for $25 and I don’t understand how I can get people to hear me
It’s unmuted and the mic is plugged in
gamestop
the mic is probably broken
I mean is it atleast decent?
oh I was talking to rai but ok lol
I keep telling my co workers to make a discord so I can talk to them but they insist on leaving me out and not using it
I dont know much about GameStop
go to sound settings and tap the mic and see if it registers on the volume bar
if it doesn't register then smth is wrong with the mic
Huh?

It’s plugged into my controller
oh
well iirc there's a menu in sound settings where you can adjust the volume
then you just slap the mic and see if the bar moves
I mean is the pc I got atleast decent for gta 5 or other games?
maybe not future proof, but its a start
but what is future proof these days :/
Can’t I upgrade it later?
yea, but i thought the whole point of you buying a prebuild is you didnt know how to build lol
Yeah but I’ll slowly learn.
I would just buy the parts then n build it with youtube videos
Nah. I’ll just use it for now.
And if it starts to perform bad I’ll start switching it up
You're really overlooking this most PCs will be able to run what you need and unless you want this PC to last for like 8 years just get that one you showed last @dawn cosmos
This?
that ozbargain pc that i posted would be a future proof option in this case
doesn't matter
Ah you can upgrade anyway
U guys might think that im a
now but i started using Bing instead of Google.
that's a .7 ghz reduction
I believe you get rewards for using Bing right?
j
Idk but it made my work a lot easier
How does it make it easier?
I can actually find results for what im searching for instead of ads and irrelevant results
Cisco?
That's nice to have
no calculator
counting with fingers i see
not really
Mikrotech also included?
?
CCNA is cisco only
are you CCNA certified @wispy mesa ?
Not yet, maybe in the future. My job didnt require it so i never did the exams
Im not only doing the exam just for the certificate I want the knowledge
Ah ok yea fair enough.
Static/Dynamic Routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, Port Security, VLAN, Inter-VLAN, Router-On-Stick, Cabling, Subnetting. This is what I currently know theory wise
It is only multiple choice and they require you to know how to do the configuration so Im weak in this, cabling and routing protocols
Looks like a good list. Dynamic routing such as?
Your teaching your network who they can communicate with. They learn by themselves and is good for large networks
Static routing is your forcing the device to only communicate to what you assign it to which is good for security but bad for larger networks bec it takes time
Ah ye, well if you got any questions do ask here
Do you know jeremy?
the courses on youtube?
I dont know if hes on youtube
I don't have ccna or mikro but i know all these lol
you can do the exam then
Yeah should probably do that
its 120 questions multiple choice 80% pass mark
But i don't see how it's gonna benefit me
oh your not networking focused
Nah im a designer engineer
IT architecture designer or?
I guess its good that you're aware of networking knowledge
HVAC designer now
Is that mainly computer based? Or are you onsite working in a roof as well?
thats cool
oh your following the iso standard
I am familiar with ISO27001 for auditing IT security risks
ISO17024 for HVAC engineers
Man why haven't I been more active in this channel I am more familiar with these topics lol
that's cool and all, but can you calculate the latency for an average RFC 1149 implementation
I heard of RFC1149
I dont understand what it is but my mind is linking it to routing protocols
bird joke?
wdym joke
IPoAC is a joke proposal to carry Internet Protocol (IP) traffic by birds such as homing pigeons.
I think i read something about someone calculating it
ye, the average calculation uses an unladen swallow
Cant find it. But it was some meme about calculating the mean ping time
No it's only office work
Just working on software and CAD
And of course lot of spreadsheets
Idk jumped into the job then learned it
im training to be a network security specialist
yes
Network in general is fun
I wish I got into it sooner
But security sounds like responsibility
Do you have a home server yet?
You are required to be available even after work and on weekends in cybersecurity
you mean in the current company?
That's IT mostly
true tbh
I said "home" server

I didnt set it up though
Build a home server then and learn from it
Will packet tracer help?
no
i thought you meant a home network
are they underrated
no very good
debatable
Server means a device that serves your computer/phone or whatever with data or information
so like a web server to retrieve web content?
I understand the OSI model and encapsulation as well
Now with a server you can do all kinds of things like backing up your data
Game servers
self hosted DNS
self hosted VPN
Media servers like plex
Or simply use it for virtual machines
what about the servers in a restaurant
I see
You can also host web pages on it i guess
DHCP too?
any device that offers a service can be classified as server
that includes dhcp, dns, whatever
I see ok
You can build your own router and let it have your DHCP yeah
So its like a storage of things or to offer something to a device
that's pretty much the basics of server/client relationship
Technically it cant
oh?
better sit down then, because you can route with a windows server as well
If it has router function then it's a router not a switch
not really, look up l3 switches
ill take any info or tips
it's not an exception tho, they just switch ip based instead of mac
and they're way faster than routers in doing so
they're just limited in additional l3 functionality
I learned that access control lists are a stateless type of firewall
meaning the router can be configured to block certain ports/traffic from entering the network but it doesnt learn and remember what it has blocked whereas a firewall is stateful meaning its more secure because it remembers and learns from blocking sus traffic
FortiGate is a type of stateful firewall software from fortinet
they have a FortiSIEM so they can record logs of policy violatons of firewalls
I also learned about web content filtering, SSL VPN config for users and IPSec
stateful just means, the firewall tracks connections as opposed to basic allow/deny based on headers
I apologise for flooding the chat I just get too excited talking about this lol
yes! i remember seeing that it remembers the network connections made it keeps a "state table" something along those lines
Go to like facebook marketplace or ebay and buy a cheap sg200 gigabit managed switch and a sg300 n connect n try then out
I can create a home server with packet tracer but only having it function as DHCP, DNS
Unless theres more i dont know of yet
Should be able to get them for less than 100
By home server we mean real hardware
Oh I see
dam
So like what did you have it do
nice server speakers
Thats not a bad idea
I might see if i can find some lol
lol
They host my dns, home assistant, omada controller, and a bunch of other vms/containers
dont even need a firewall to play around, they exist as vms too
i see
Yea pfsense
just a switch and server
Yup
multiple eth ports are nice to have, but you can just vlan the shit out of one interface for homelabbing
did you actually configure them via putty?
Servers have web interfaces
virtual interfaces?
Switch is SDN up here
Oh its from a website so you put your server info and edited it through this website
so its like a web based CLI?
putty and shitty usb to serial converters are a thing of the past
they still use it here bro we old school
lol
I guess for security reasons? Unless you know more
thats sick
But yea, i got 2 switches just laying in my cupboard lol
you could create a vlan no but for what purpose
Hmm?
My understanding of vlan is connecting 2 switches together via trunk port
so 2 departments can communicate with each other?
or its to allow more port usability to allow more computers to be able to be connected
A switch can have up to 4096 vlans
wtf
Each port can be assigned to be ACCESS on a specific vlan the device connected to that port is in that vlan
Devices on the same vlan can talk
so lets say
port 1 blue, port 2 red and they are in a vlan. Port 1 can only communicate with Port 1 from the other switch?
You can use a trunking port to connect switchs/routers
Yes, but big no
oh
Yea because you could have them in the same vlan, but you can have any amount of ports on a vlan
Really hard to type on phone lol
you know the ps2 controller extension thing?
Ps/2 the port?
Oh the splitter thong
Thing
yea
you can stick as many vlans on a port as the spec allows
unless you're talking about port based, but that's old stuff
my company is sticking to the older ones I think due to security reasons
Which spec?
Guys in terms of our discussion do you think I have the base knowledge to do the CCNA exam?
802.1Q
Im confident in IPV4 subnetting
Yea but an access port cant have multiple vlans
huh?
Which bit
i can tag a port with however many vlans i fancy
Oh yea what is this port tagging?
A trunk port yes
when people say port tag are they referring to VLANs?
But im talking about a untagged port
Yes tagged meaning trunking, untagged meaning access
i see
That’s different but yes
Yes, but the ip phone deals with turning the conputer connected to be a untagged port
But its overall still just a tagged port, with 2 vlans
Rather then straight to an end device
My hands are hurting so much lmao
Say thanks to Juan for the great article:

ht...
Today I learned something new
Oof
Close but still a bit to understand i think
trunking nomenclature is a bit of a cisco thing
other vendors like aruba just tag/untag, there's no separate differentiation between trunk/access port
if you talk about trunk, it's usually combining ports static or lacp
:/ so wheres the encapsulation then
what encapsulation
.1q frames
Yea bad name but the tagged ports still need to know they’re tagged
yes, your out of the box experience is untagged management vlan on all ports
We probably have different names for things but when i say trunk i mean tagged as the exact same things
cisco trunk is oldschool for uplinks with multiple tagged and the rest untagged for whatever end devices
Yes but thats how it is still today, tagged being for vlans moving to other network devices with the same vlans
Well yea ip phones listen to tagged traffic and pass untagged
usually your ip phone is on a different vlan than the end device behind it
because ip phones suck and talk too much
Yes
so again, there's 2 vlans on your "access port"
Technically 1 being the voip traffic and then 1 but not really tagged as a vlan traffic for the end device
untagged just means the tag vanishes on egress, it still gets tagged ingress
there's no packets floating around the switch without tags
Yes i know
I didnt know that the subnet mask separates the IP Address to two parts to identify the endpoint and network
My IPV4 subnetting method is through decimal to binary conversion and binary to decimal conversion, reserving the bits for subnet mask, getting the increment then finding the network ranges
Vlsm
gn and thanks for the help
Hmm but do i want to sleep
I gotta sleep soon™️
What time?
im tired to think im glad today I reviewed what I know and what I need to understand.
Welp gn dm if you need help with anything
2+3=5
on Awaya Switches i have seen where you can assign multiple VLANs on a port without tagging them. then set a PVID value for that port to the vlan ID you want port to actively participate in. so technically that port is part of multiple VLANs (untagged) but only active on one.
same tech but soo many different ways to implement on different vendors.. that's networking for you.
PVID is a can of worms that varies wildly between switch vendors, it's how you define the vlan for ingress untagged frames while preserving tags on tagged frames
"preserving tags on tagged frames" hmm.. in my experience, the Awaya switches i worked with, had some ports with multiple vlans set on them with a PVID but they were not really set to "Tag" anything. only ports tagging were the uplinks.
how many vendors have you seen so far using this "PVID" thingy?
PVIDs are in the spec, every vendor implements them somehow
U mean spec for VLANs or someting?
yes
no, it just gets set automatically when you untag a port
hmm.. i see.
because having different untagged vlans egress and ingress is just silly
yeah ofc.
on aruba you need to define the pvid
Nerds
shush
hmm.. i did worked on 1 aruba switch. dont remember which one but it didnt had any cli, ony a web UI and i didnt saw any PVID anywhere.
plus a "Trunk" on Aruba is Link aggregation. initially, i was sooo confused because of that word.
though it was Tagging but nope.
trunk and access are cisco terms to feel special
sure, np
have my ENARSI Exam in 7 days... 😬 😓 👀
idk what that is but good luck
because companies need to employ a certain amount of CCIE holders to get maximum benefits on hardware
yeah dont they get a heavy discount on hardware?
yes
and lots of Cisco learning credits?
it's mostly about the hardware
i see.
@jade pivot @wispy mesa I bought udemy course from niel anderson and going to combine it with jeremy IT lab from youtube
I already built a base foundation of knowledge with CBT nuggets for the past month
now I will strengthen the knowledge with niel anderson's course combined with jeremy IT lab as a backup
I scouted the reddit network communities and these guys are the gold standards to get the knowledge for the exam
I wouldn’t buy any courses unless you getting a certificate, you can find everything online for free
it wasnt expensive
but it was still money outta your pocket
lol
you aiming for CCNA?
yes
im working as a network security specialist though and they will consider hiring me if I get CCNA
if you can, i would recomend also going through Pluralsight's CCNA course. its not enough to pass but its a very visual course and will set you up with a good foundation. on top of that, use the courses you bought + jeremy IT lab. Also Boson ExSim also helps a lot.
alot in reddit say boson tests helped them alot
And... Join Jeremie's Discord.
the guy from cbt nuggets?
ah
alot of people told me to buy the exam questions so once I have a strong knowledge then ill buy the questions to practise
it did, helped me a lot.
oh
exactly what i did.
i did get the experience to see certified ethical hackers do penetration testing on web applications, networks but I mostly enjoyed protecting the network
Its just what my brain is wired to like I guess lol
I also got to see soc analysts response to cyber incidents
Well. everyone got their own thing they are good at. since i discovered networking. i just cant stop learning more about it 😄
we're in the same boat
Currently aiming for get my CCNP done by next week.
people told me to do that after ccna
I guess its more advanced and there's switch, router configs to do?
Well.. that's the logical step if you wana continue networking or you can branch out after ccna and do other IT things.
did my msg just got deleted?
yes!! lots of it.
i pray for internet like this every day but my parents will never upgrade
What speeds you got @junior flax
on my pc like 30 😭
cos my dad refuses to let me run an ethernet cable to my room
on my xbox more like 80
basically what i get on my pc
check out powerline adapters
Damn
had an ethernet port put into the wall in my room, which was nice
ye i’m waiting till i get paid to buy one as i’m broke rn 😭
ran the cable through the electrical cavity
i asked for that when my room was being build but my dad “didn’t want holes in wall” as it was a new extension
makes no sense
fr
you can just run them parallel to power walls
and have the cables in the same cavity
i told him ask the electrician to do it as we had one in and he just dodged all the time
fr
it’s stupid but is what it is ig
tbh unless your property has FTTP ethernet wouldn't make all that much difference
what suburb, I'll check for you @junior flax
wdym
(I'm Australian - ik nbn is shit lmao)
i’m england
LMAO
no my dad has sky internet which also provides tv and it’s ASS
it’s the main thing keeping the uk back
but he refuses to swap cos he watches tv
but yeah you should be able to check somehow
without fibre to the property ethernet won't make much difference
idk if it’s fibre i think the only fibre we got on our street was supplied by virgin media
as they did it like a year or 2 ago
i’m my old room i did have ethernet and got like 100mbps but now less
check here @junior flax https://www.sky.com/broadband/buy?irct=fttp-hero-prospect
what?
i play everything including competitive games 💀
speed ≠ ping
how long it takes ur message to reach the server
for example how long it takes for a gun shoot input to get from your computer to the game server
not how much u can upload
the amount of data for your average multiplayer game is in the kbps range, dont need fiber to play counterstrike
ye
@wind elm
does anyone know what can make my cpu hot
Depends in if its suposed to be hot or not

damn I really forgot this channel existed.

I want to be olegs sacrifice
my lips are sealed
Hmm

you could claim pets and food too
Block the vents
Did that after replacing my paste
i mean i think its a little bit too hot and idk how to make it cooler
you want to talk in numbers, not feelings
how hot is my cpu supposed to be if im not playing anything
the temp under load and max temp varies by CPU
About average +20
core 1# 83°c
core 2# 81°c
all of those can be found in the tech specs
is this too hot
Is it a laptop
its an i3 3rd generation on a laptop
Then its fine
not under any load
Oh
probably full of dust and cracked paste
Yeah
prolly
80 is not a good temp for idling
Also probably throttling
unless you surf in the desert or sth
thats too bad
holefuk
my laptop idles at like
40
laptop
you might be able to open it up and clean if you google your laptop tech manual
ima at 80
one, asus actually fixed the cooling on the 2022 model
two
uhh
how
fix your cooling
After telling em what's wrong with it
speaking of
reminds me i need to open up my laptop again sometime and clean it
fans are getting a bit too loud for my liking
remove the fans
They're usually quiet, they're probably just full of dust
havent been cleaned in like
I haven't done my yearly deepclean on my PC yet
6 months
if you need to clean your laptop every 6 months, might want to vacuum your room instead
i mean i say 'loud'
I'm not saying I need to, i'm just saying that might be the cause lol
might aswell check
- this laptop gets moved a lot, most of the dust probably isn't from my room
probably from school or w/e

shit
sorry for pinging all of u but better then ppl falling for it
time to update the filter
100% valid staff ping
thanks alec
ok this should no longer happen
@cold elbow Im studying for ccna
the course from udemy is pog it has flashcards, study material, videos, questions about every lecture and ccna exam questions (mock exam) for 7 dollars (equivalent here)
I plan to buy my own rack, switch, router, firewall, server and ethernet cables
We already have a modem setup so I wonder how I'd get its cable connected to my network
this might be tough to follow, but
you take a regular eth cable and plug it into both routers
this is why i told you to make your own server... it sometimes can be done for free and you will learn lots from it
oh
rack, switch, router, firewall, server and ethernet cables
or
rack, used 4 port network card, server and ethernet cables
add more cardboard boxes
tbh i like these small wall mounted racks
There are smol racks as well
And you could always just buy the rails for a few bucks and mgcuyver them together
zipties
like no one saw it coming
dude cooling them straight up with the pool loop
wow "pool loop" is just the same word backwards
Backfiring on linus eh?
Linus being an entertainment hack? Colour me surprised
in the introduction part of the video he listed things that you'd not expect to fail in a million years
so, alienware?
they said good performance
He also said make
the performance isnt shit, it's just hella overpriced
Doesnt that mean it is shit then
if you go by cost/benefit yes, but that wasnt the question
fish fish fish fish
half
that's a big spoon
that's a big phone
Oh that is a good idea
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080, Deepcool CH370 MicroATX Mid Tower
Sacrificed some performance for vomit looking parts
🤑
Not even
Look at that cpu cooler 😭
The fan i have on my room probably cools better and it was 18€
buy an aio 😭
i dont wanna be harsh but that's a very bad investment in the scope of performance
the best way it getting the best price to performance
like that card is just too expensive for what you get out of it
overkill power supply????
shit motherboard and what is the deal with that tiny ass cooler?
wait
...
that powersupply looks like a bomb
I guess you all miss the point of what I was doing
.
u failed at that
Of course
Pcpartpicker just doesn't have the good stuff
Aliexpress on the other hand
The psu just gotta tug it out I guess
and you need a blower style gpu
A what?
kinda cool for a specific builds
Wdym "what is this" its obviously a graphics car
Army gpu
graphics car

it's a good cooler tho
copper heatsink
more thermal mass
Not for the price
Shoot it
have you heard of electrical tape
it's kinda nonsensical to call it electrical tape if it's not conductive
All you need for CCNA is Cisco Packet tracer. it will run just fine on a modern day patato.
Ion have any
get real
Gime your electric tape
@brave field i ordered 32gb 2x16 kit of kingston fury so ill let you know if that fixes my problems🙏🏾
What Gaming PC would be good for a beginner in 2023 while having it last for atleast 5 years
I'm not asking this for me personally but I'm just wondering
I'm assuming pre-builts are obviously out of the question
if you have the last secret shopper video that linus made... some pre builds are actually fine
for what kind of purpose?
gaming? work? just browsing the internet?
stupid rules ig
Teaching you how you drive a formula

this is soooooooooo cool
no

So every time you want to use it you need to write the initial equation?
Yes
Yeah we do that too but it’s not necessary
And then like cross out and divide/multiply to move it
Or subtract/add depends
It's very dumb imo
Don’t tell me you need to derive the equations from one another too every single time
Like ok I wanna find "a" in here, I have start with:
v=v0+at
t/v=v0+at/t
t/v=v0+a
v-v0/t=a
But then I have to write it correctly
We only write it if they ask for it
That is utterly dumb
Which is a=v-v0/t
They literally give us paper with all equations
I wish they did that here
I waste MORE time debunking how to change the equation rather than solving the problem
It’s simple enough to just chuck the term you want to one side in this case "a" and the other terms past the "=" in one step than to risk making mistakes in three steps
Not to mention you should just memorise it through practice
Memorizing equations is stupid imo
Also dividing by t first before moving the v0 is like kinda dumb
An engineer should use all avaliable resources to solve an issue
We have some open book exams even
Well, that’s not exactly what I meant
You divide/multiply first... what's the issue?
With bigger equations it would make more sense
Hmm noted
Though I am likely just gonna use the screenshot I sent since that helps more
In the second example given the equation is bigger and there are second degree terms, first they deducted (s-v0) then divided by the coefficient (1/2t^2)
That’s how I was taught to do it
To be fair I haven't touched going after anything with power of two or 1/2 in fractions
Or Square root for that matter
Physics I guess
Ngl I only ever struggled with physics because my math was too weak
And when you don’t know the math you’re gonna have a bad time with physics
Speaking from experience

I mean yeah
Because physics is essentially applied maths
@cold elbow Undead cursed PC moment as usual

so your vanguard whatever has an issue
where did you find that
WOOOOOO

imagine playing a game that checks for secure boot
Ikr, that's exactly what I said
Valirant
why do I keep putting myself through this
biennial update day, sure, update windows, chipset, and GPU drivers
re-disable startup services, re-hide search bar, re-delete edge shortcut, re-set lock screen image, re-opt-out of sending keystrokes, disable news and interests, bye bye cortana, shutup xbox app, blah blah
Where's my enhancements tab gone for my audio devices? Disabling driver updates from WU does nothing, I guess.
I feel like I shouldn't have to ask if the PrintNightmare, smb2, and eternalblue patches were worth it.
Anyone here have any expertise with Blender?
Barely some
ask ur question and what u need help with!!!!!

oreo
oreo :THIS:
I'm asking if anyone has experience so I don't waste my time asking a question that no one here has an answer to.
But since you insist, I'm trying to use Blender to port a source map to Unity. How can I do that
which one is better?
Redgear Pro (Wireless) vs Cosmicbyte Ares (Wireless)
for PC
tag me while replying, so that I'll get notification
the what now
The
a gaming headset or an other gaming headset
are you sure about that
Never heard about any of them so they are both poo probably
so true!!
in that case, a gaming mouse or an other gaming mouse
I think the question is if wireless is better than wireless
But idk anything bout that
no
audeze maxwell
it looks cool
Natural antivirus

gold is a scam
audiofool sounds about right
i wonder do most users actually pay for anti viruses anymore
like mcafee n shit
i stopped years ago once i realised windows defender+ common sense was good enough
it makes perfect sense
those without common sense would buy mcafee to compensate
though with mcafee it would be a bad attempt to compensate but that's why it makes even more sense
lol
Defender is really good nowadays
But most important is sth like ublock
ye i realised that after like win 7 it’s enough
Since like 90% are drive-by website infections
ye
more like 99% of it being caused by not having common sense
