Nothing just thought u had a newer model
I was gonna buy an iphone 11 too
But ended up buying the s22u
Also bcs the iph 11 was kinda old already
My ph11 is the AIDS edition the black ones were soldout
Aids?
red
Rose Gold?

yes
No just pink
Word of the Day:
Pink
I used samsung 6 before I got lightened to find the true path
And the dark red also looks gongeous
I hope samsung starts releasing some new color combos or im gonna cry
I will be called gay if I got it
Samsung 6?
S6?
Looks like clotted blood
Damn that octane red is fascinating
Yea
Thats dark red mr
When it was new
S20Fe also had similar color
What is oneui?
Awful
Its the operating system name
Yeah i wouldnt buy it, but its nice to see new colors
Oni chan

Nvm S20 fe had more of matte finish
OneUI is literally the UI, not the OS
I remember that the s20 fe had a kpop edition i think
That was purple
It looked pretty cool if not for the bullying u d get for having it
S8+ in Pink
They don’t have dark blue this time ?
Awful
Yea
All phones should be black
too much gay looking
No
This photo is fine, but discord decided to kill the saturation on the photo fish posted till I tapped it
Black is boring
I d prefer the dark red over the black iph15
Blood red💀
Now i like it a bit
I got my s22u in black GAHHH it looks so segsy
It depends
Some look bland
I'm sayin bruh, it looks like legit blood
Some dont
But my homie will not see me lacking
Is that a bad thing
If anyone judges you for having a pink phone, that's a them issue
And i love it
Depends on who you ask
Nah just joking
seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I get frequent nosebleeds, so I have to deal with blood s lot, so I can tell the colour is really accurate

Hemophilia?
iron your nose
Only thing im hating about the new iphones 15 are the metal frames, i think they are turning them to matte y aluminum which imo looks and feels cheaper than the iph14s stainless steel
It's like, the membranes in my nose are super thin + my nostrils are often dry, so it can bleed easily. I use saline to stop the bleeding relatively quickly
never had one
Thats kinda hot
Yea it have a lot of small veins try to moisturize it with Vaseline
Hope you fast recovery

The black 🖤
Random pro tip: don't buy things late at night when you're tired
Why?
Random pro tip: dont buy
Doubt putting vaseline inside your nose is comfortable
Theres products made for moisturizing the nose
That does not include vaseline lmfao
Don’t put too much
🗿
i mean i dont see why not as long as its unscented
Im p sure vaseline smells
It shouldnt, pure jelly doesnt have a taste or smell
Atleast i ve never seen vaseline that doesnt smell
Yea i use the basic one
yea that works
This good looking fella
Ok
i probably wouldnt use it on my nose since my nose doesnt require any internal up keep lmao
Can we stop talking about putting vaseline inside your nose in the tech channel
Yea probably

i put it on pc parts sometimes
Bro?
lmao chill its for cryo cooling for testing clocks
I was about to say
to not get condensation on the mobo
Took me a sec to think about it, then I remembered gamers nexus using it in a stream
Hah or put it in your keyboard to stop split liquids going inside
smell good mobo
And LTT, for that matter
yes
good water insulator
I was gonna make a joke about ram slots till I remembered
But also a good dust collector
Put vaseline on the ram slots before putting the ram in so it slides in better
ill have to try that next time
You don't need electrical contact
nope
What is considered "hot" for 3200-3600 MT/s DDR4?
872c

dang, i must run really underclocked
what
which bit
I put it on all the screws in my pc
are you a mechanic?
no I work in a supermarket
Loctite on oil drain plug 👍
Put Vaseline on the CPU it will help in reducing temperature
Better than thermal paste
@quartz kayak
Can someone explain to me why the fuck do I have to give up USB 3.2 Gen 2 slot to a useless Type-C? Total waste, give me Type-A back, bruh (ping me)
I really love having that port sometimes
Day after day usb c devices are getting more common like phone charging cables
Yeah but where do you plug in the other end
Standard cable has Type-A and Type-C on both sides
Bruh why would you need it
Also a lot of docks comes with type c
It's like having a to a cable
Wym why?? It what came with my phone
c to c?!
Don't u know all the benefits of c to c?
Yes
It's also super helpful if you have a vr headset like the quest 2 because it pushes more watts
For now I still believe it's a wasted USB 3.2 Gen 2
Like if it wasn't for that I'd immediately buy that mb
Because I like everything else about it
As i said
But this makes me consider other options, which unfortunately do not satisfy my system fan connectors requirements
Yes
I don't want to use splitters and hubs
Is it really so expensive to put just 2 or 3 more 4-pins on a mb?
So u use the outside ports for internal fans?
c to c can also sometimes be used instead of an hdmi cable
No
The 4-pin connectors directly on the mobo
Who the fuck uses usb to power fans
My nvidia drivers can't be installed it won't let me
Sounds like a you issue
But I'd like both my kb and mouse to be plugged into USB 3.2 Gen 2
Not just one of them
It's dumb
That c port is so useless
Such a loss of a fine USB port
Because it's the highest speed
And also humans love symmetry
Why u need speed for something even usb 2 is capable for it
Also
Your issue can be easily solved with lot of ways like a pcie usb card
Gives you like 4 extra ports
Or you can get a usb C to usb A splitter
Heck there is even a small c to A adapter
Extra stuff I gotta buy
I am a minimalist
That's also why I don't want any bs hubs and splitters
But okay, thank you anyway
I guess I just needed an external confirmation regarding
The matter

I still don't see why I'd need that Type-C though
I guess I can plug in a power bank and use my PC anywhere XDDD
Or a phone charger for that extra power ⚡
Oh god why do i have 4 pings
Hi
Ey i actually wanted to ask if ud know to switch between multiple python versions but i fixed the problem
Normally you d use tools like "pyenv" or "conda" depending on what you need. These tools allow you to manage and switch between different Python versions easily.
Nah what i did was i forgot to install 3.11 to path and it didnt work when i moved it up in environment veriables. I had to reinstall it to path and then moving it to top than the other py version worked
What's the easiest way and most efficient to generate a timestamp link or code

LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO
@burnt meteor Only laptop parts.
Idk what I’m reading but nice 🔥🔥🔥
yeah i know but say like a cpu would that be downclocked say the performance you could receive from a laptop compared to a pc?
Yeah you can always get better performance from a desktop PC, because it can handle more heat.
Even if it's "same" CPU or GPU
yeah i get you that’s funny asf tho as it’s the same price lmao
the naming scheme for laptop parts is fucking stupid
Actually laptop parts are pricier sometimes. 3080 laptops will cost like 2000$ or something.
Laptops have screens and keyboards integrated on it though
yet you receive less uphold on frames and performances
what a marketing strategy
laptop 3080 has a ga104 which is the same gpu as a desktop 3060ti
Really?
What a scam
yes
But laptop couldn't probably even handle "real" 3080 anyway
Well there are some 9000$ battle station laptops which are HUGE
I'd rather not call them laptops even at that point
Yeah, it's little bit scammy. Especially when Nvidia uses same names with their laptop and desktop GPU's when they're not the same at all.
it reminds me of my mate who bought xbox series x played for a year was saying it so much better only to find out his tv doesn’t even support 4k or 120Hz
Well it doesn't really need 4k display to see the improvement.
You will see improvements in graphical effects and that it's 60fps even at 1080p/60hz panel
eh sure stable and feels better and maybe faster loading times but he was genuinely gassing it hard long before he finds out his tv doesn’t even support his consoles refresh rate
lmao
Or get a Laptop for 800-1.5k with a RTX 3060 or something.
(USD)
ye because if u put them on ur lap your thighs would cook
1500$ for a 3060
I would get at least 3070 on laptop as 3060 has very limited VRAM (6GB).
Framework 16 seems to be very interesting machine
Depends on the person overall. But 3070 is pretty good
It's gaming laptop where you can upgrade GPU
Overpriced
True, but on laptop form factor everything is
For it cost u can buy two laptops sooo
I dont see the appeal with their gaming laptop
Their regular one is great tho
Pretty good laptop ngl. For that price, you could buy a RTX 4090. (1.6k USD excluding taxes and shipping)
"The Framework Laptop 16 has a display excellent for gaming, creation, and general productivity, simultaneously delivering 2560x1600 resolution, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, variable refresh rate up to 165Hz, 9ms rise+fall time, 1500:1 contrast, and an unusually high 500 nit brightness."

That's a dream screen on a laptop
If we don't count OLED
Better than my monitor
A laptop that you could build your self and upgrade everything.
My monitor is kinda same as that Framework laptop's monitor, but I don't have 100% DCI-P3
And of course my gaming monitor is 27inch vs 16inch
Yeah that's like a dream laptop for me
I used to have DIY laptop where I brought my own RAM and SSD, but that's it.
If I were to buy a gaming laptop I would probably get the framework
Yeah. As of right now, I am just planning on using a raspberry pi and turn it into a laptop.
Sounds like a good project
hopefully I could work on it sometime this weekend
How...
I feel embarrassed to post my own results now
How much do you pay for your internet and why is it so good
My unloaded latency and download speeds are fine, but loaded latency and upload speed is not so great
How do you have such high upload speeds is my question
Today for the other one I use:
Usually 100-200 off MBPS when I am using a VPN (from another country)
Idk
My dad has a server or switch in the basement that keeps control of. Me and him just hardwired my room and my other room 2 months ago.
something like one of these. He has an entire racket filled with them
100gb games before hardwire: took forever to download (took me over a day to download RDR2)
100gb games after hardwire: takes 30-40 minutes or something
What are your results?
That's not a part of why, lmao
Fibre optic Internet
Are you on WiFi, and are other people on the network?
There aren't
Forgot to note: I am using ethernet and I have an access point in my room but it's directly hardwired to my dad switch.
But are you wired to it?
If you don't have fibre, then it's common to have low upload speeds, especially in the US
That's wack
Yeah, which is why I am already looking up a different provider
Actually
Orange is top 1 provider in my country in terms of fibre optic FTTH
Seems no one offers such good upload speeds in my city
Yeah, there's only one provider in my country who offers symmetrical fibre optic
And not in every part of it either
I just got installed with google fiber today
1gbps upload and download for $70 a month
saw a prebuilt at sam’s. any good?
like i know prebuilts are terrible but i want a pc, and i saw GeForce and gigabyte and thought it was worth the ask
pretty good actually I don’t know what you will be using it for but it’s great for games, I’d probably upgrade the storage later on because hdd’s aren’t the fastest
school, photo and video editing, games like beamng, gta, r6
If you will be playing a lot of games and doing a lot of editing you will Defenitely need to upgrade that ssd but the pc will suit your needs and will be efficient performance-wise 👍
Running games on an ssd is much faster than a hdd
Faster loading times when running games and faster booting up the pc speed
anything actual gameplay wise?
Nah just loading
how big of a diff we talking?
Really big
Especially when it comes to video editing
The rendering times will be much faster
More than twice as long as an ssd
how much is a good SSd?
I got my 1tb ssd for 30 dollars but I’ll have to check I’m sure it increased
But expect 35-60 dollars
Just checked and it is 35 dollars, just to be clear the pc already has an ssd but you are adding another one because after a few games and videos most of that storage will be gone
Here is a recommendation, don’t buy components from irl stores
i’m not i’m buying the whole prebuilt
Components from irl stores don’t have the best quality
they have a 90 day warranty
It is better to build your own if you can though
i’ll pass for 1300
Nasa
just cause i don’t want to break anything and it’s very convenient for the same price
Okay
but if it shits out on me i’ll build one
Good plan
and then i’m dumping about $3000 into a camera setup
…
slow
you edited that
Whatever

Overpriced
Also u dont need i7 12700k for the 3060
Even 5600x will get the job done
so it’s overkill?
Yea
CPU is an overkill
I already know that ain't Ookla with that font

no i know that. the video card is the one not giving me the full potential?
better off getting a webuild rather than a prebuild
webuilds are prebuilds without shitty proprietary parts
you pick the parts for a custom rig, and the retailer builds + ships it to you
many PC stores do it
yeah but it’s my first PC i don’t care that much i rather just upgrade a lil as i go
I mean, at this point in time there's literally no reason to not purchase an SSD for gaming. They are stupid cheap nowadays.
i kinda need this now
thats the issue
Hell, I remember when a 1tb HDD cost $150
Well... you can, but you have to get creative.
what’s a propriority part
propriety parts are manufacturer specific parts that are incompatible with mainstream
elaborate a lil more please
ie: their graphics cards use a custom plug, so when you buy a new graphics card or whatever, the plug isn't right
did you look at the specs?
think of it like trying to plug an American power plug into a power port made for an Australian plug
Well, the PCI-E lane is usually fine, it's the power connector that's usually proprietary.
So the move is to get an adapter.
Yea gpu is weak
depends on the manufacturer, they often use other plugs too
But I would generally build rather than purchase a prebuilt, that's the way to go.
Manufacturers won't tell you if they use proprietary parts/ports, that's why they're bad
because you only find out later on that you can't upgrade
yessir
Pre builds usually have weird combination of gpu and cpu
plenty of manufacturers offer off the shelf webuilds that they can sell right now
i'll find some
MERICA🇺🇸🇺🇸
🦅
@stuck lichen https://www.microcenter.com/search/builds.aspx
what is this
a 'webuild' section
custom PCs that others have built you can just buy as a preset
much better than getting a prebuilt
all i see is people showing off builds
if you click on one and see the 'parts contained in build' there's a 'start build with this' button
click that, does it all for you
or, Microcentres in house webuilds
I want 120hz
That'd be so fucking expensive in my country
Better than $130/mo I was paying to comcast for 200mbps down 5mbps up
$5.88/mo for 750mbps down 750mbps up

True yeah
Bruh wth bruh
$13.30/mo for 150mbps up and down
I pay 15 € for 5 down and 2 up
The pc wasn't dell, hp, or anything like that. It's chillin
Question for all of you
how many IPV6 addresses does your ISP allocate to you?
🇷🇺
Zero
same
I don't get why we are sooooooooo damn slow to adapt ipv6
sorry to hear
Chromium based browsers use ipv6 by default. Do your requests go through ipv4, or do you just get allocated some shared ipv6 address between people in the same area, like a CGNAT?
So 1tb ssd and 1tb hdd?
yes
.
Price?
Not a lot of expansion on that mobo
Ha, didn't even realise till now they called the category "Expansion"
Not even mobo name or nothin just "expansion" lmao
Kinda concern what they have as the keyboard and mouse
Just some cheapo stuff that gets thrown in with every prebuilt
why they call the mobo expansion lmao
1600
Looks like it has an actual sound card, taking up one of the two non 16x slots. Doesn't leave a lot of room for add-in cards
what’s that mean
have razer KBM anyways so don’t really care to much
usually the gpu has a built in sound card idk maybe it’s taking up a slot tho
They wouldn't call that 7.1 surround on the specs
That is true hard to know without a picture of the pc
Stuff like a PCIe expansion card for like, more USB ports, or something to plug more hard drives into (not like the case could hold that many), or a capture card for your console
I honestly say build one tbh
PCIe slots are the horizontal lines toward the bottom
Just.. buy the parts yourself
I only see an additional x1 slot
That is absolutely choked for airflow
There’s also places where you can pick parts and have it built for you
Does look very hot lack of fans for such a powerful system
It's push-pull, so it's actually 4 fans in front, but that means nothing for that tiny sliver it has to suck air through
Tried to tell them that
oh and they don’t like that option?
nah
idk i just wanna buy a pc that i know what it looks like and i know exactly what im getting
and if it’s so bad i’ll just sell it and get a webuild
i’ll feel more confident
You can do that with the website
You'll know exactly what you're getting when you're picking out the parts
ok but it’s like this
If you need help doing it we can help
vs this
You can look up what things look like
Most of the websites show pictures too
well it’s not about the parts itself it’s about the whole thing
like am i getting positive airflow? negative airflow? if i just put 4 fans how will i know
also
i can NOT hold in anticipation
3 intake 1 exhaust = positive
2 intake 2 exhaust = neutral
1 intake 3 exhaust = negative
Assuming same speed
Not much to it
yeah i know what they mean and are
but if i put 4 fans down… theres gonna be fans.. where?
You choose or ask for the best configuration for the case
there’s a base picture of the pc case to start with it shows all the fans
oh
you think positive or neutral is the best?
Depends on a few things
I actually noticed positive air flow reduces dust
I actually run negative in my case
Bottom 3 intake, side 3 exhaust through a radiator, and just moved one of my top three exhaust to rear intake
If dust wasn’t a problem where I’m sitting I would run negative to decrease those temps
(The second card was just a test)
I moved the rear most top fan to be intake at the open rear to blow over the motherboard
And I just set it so that the top 2 fans don't turn on till like, 65 or 70 on the cpu
To actually answer your question simply: Usually positive (assuming speed is constant). If you have 4 fans, and your case only has front, top, and rear to choose from, I'd run 3 in the front, one in the back.
I'd run the intake slower than the exhaust though
holy shit 😳
that’s a setup
This is the current arrangement.
Bottom is main intake, side is main exhaust. Rear provides airflow for the SSD, VRMs and RAM. Top two turn on when CPU gets warm (60, and ramps up at 70).
Gonna change the rear out for an actual air flow fan instead of a static pressure one in a bit. And before Melon yells at me, no, I can't get any more fans to stop, it's on a hub and won't let me
It does because it's positive pressure lol
Dust can't come in
Mostly^
It's not fully sealed so it's not perfect, but it's good
I clean my system out semi-regularly and have filters so no dust bunnies, but just super fine dust everywhere 🤧

Generally no
not rlly
Its fine™️, but you may not get good airflow if you have something on the bottom
if i have one of those office chair things can i put it on that?
Static electricity can do funky stuff, especially if there's a power outage
the static electricity from the carpet can fuck it up
Static from carpet isn't that bad if you literally plug it in
More worried about a power outage
Because I don't think man's wants a UPS
You're still grounded during an outage
fan filter? what kinda filter is that? doesnt a filter kill the main purpose of a fan which is blowing/sucking air? I dunno just curious, never used them.
Blow on Deez 💀
Took one off just to show. It's a thin mesh to catch dust and other large particulates like hair
W
To catch dust and hair from entering the pc
hmmmmm, so its like very thin right?
The filter on top doesn't have the frame, real thin, yeah
I don't like that PC being on such a small ass table
Looks sketch as fuck to me lmao
Also clean your room
Not like a car air filter with pleats and shit
This is a temporary setup, I am cleaning my actual room
There’s a filter for all my intakes
If it sits, it fits
Nicenice
If you fits you sits

Yesyes it's 2am, I'll go to sleep
And there's nothing in the photos to show that it's not clean, we literally had people over to clean less than a week ago 😭
is a 3070 good?
Just clutter everywhere to me
Yeah
3070 with a i9-12900KF?
Jesus
what
Still set on that system, eh 💀
💀
i don’t care about building or having it built bruh
I'm waiting for it to be absolutely layered with proprietary parts
if a 3070 is gonna hold me back then i won’t buy it
Not gonna gaslight you or anything,(
), but it's your purchase, so go ahead. It's a fine™️ system
Pretty good small bottleneck
There's already half the expansion slots chocked off, and I can guarantee you they're soldered slots
lmao hate when they do that bs
My only concern is that there's not a lot of pcie slots nor USB
I use a lot of usb ports because I don't like unplugging things
I have all my case fans as static pressure simply because they had the same stats as airflow fans when it comes to CFM and noise
It's the reason why I advocate webuild so much
Prebuilds aren't just proprietary connectors, it's shit like soldered slots + hardware
can get usb hub
Have now
Ah
Nice U*BHub
I only use 4 usb
LETS FUCKING GOOOO

Let’s gooo
I use 6 because both my mic and headphones are USB
Mission accomplished, goodnight folks
Gn
Gn
Respect+
Keyboard,
mouse,
wheel,
monitor (for software adjustments and hub built in),
2 audio interfaces,
controller/mouse cable (use the same one)
Those are the ones that stay plugged in
Then VR, 3rd audio interface, and 2 ports for my midi instruments
I got the sense that you played instruments from your name
now where’s that webuild link yall sent
What state are you in?
idaho
I was searching if there was a micro center in your state and there is not
does that like decrease shipping time ?
I was thinking of a way to just pick it up
if it’s outside of east idaho i’m not going for it ngl
Shit, what's that company LTT endorses that does pcs, do you know @radiant bramble ?
Build Redux, found it
Was it redux
Damn
Oh
Can you not change the case on this website
no
it's the first time i've used the site as well
I remember the Corsair website being good too
Maybe try that one
ye, i was just about to look around
Ah
i thought this would give more free choice than it did
put me on that
so how’s this work is this only corsair or is it just corsair helping me build a good pc
Mostly Corsair except cpu and gpu
icue is not a thing i am a big fan of
what’s icue
corsair's mal- i mean software
ohhh
software for controlling fans, peripherals, and LEDs
no, windows is an operating system
yeah
nah, it's something you download, like Discord or your games
I've been using iCUE for over 5 years now
download
The prices on this website are confusingly cheaper
if you want to control certain Corsair products, yes
can someone help me
i used icue to change the hardware lighting of my lighting node pro and haven't touched it since
it doesn't show the hardware cost, that's why
I finished my build and it came out to 1200 is there like hidden fees on the next page?
Oh u want cable sleeves?
err, not quite
it's not showing me total prices due to some of my network settings, i think
It’s not the best
how can it be better
overkill case and cooler, overpriced SSD, and outdated ram
oh
(and you don't need $100 worth of custom cables)
U want black or white build?
can i have help i have 0 idea what any of this means 😭
black would match a lot of my room but like white + RGB looks sickkk
i can't see prices properly, so I'll hand you this one
i’ll do either
I’ll send you screenshot after to see
ok
alright new idea
i just need a good webuild cause i don’t know what a lot of these names mean
like wtf is i7-13000K
how do i know whats good whats bad
this whole conversation needs a resparking
they said they have a 90 day return policy
you think if i buy it, look for stuff immediately, if its good keep it, and if its riddled with proprietary parts just return it?
it's easy to tell what's standard and what isn't
lenovo legion and hp omen pcs use all standard parts
hp victus and most dell stuff is proprietary
hp, omen… or hp omen
hp omen
oh
i’m gonna say it
the $1600 pc
the one everyone hates
aside from the motherboard because it’s not listed, what on there could be proprietary
someone mentioned soldered ram slots?
link?
i gotchu with the sams club app
CyberPower PC – Gamer Supreme - Liquid Cool SLC6200SAM – Intel Core i9-12900KF – 16GB DDR4 – 1TB PCI-E NVMe SSD - 1TB HDD – 802.11AC Wi-Fi – USB Gaming Keyboard – Custom RGB Case Lighting – Windows 11 Home
it actually let me do that that’s hilarious 😭
as they should be
.
not ram
expansion slots ?
i am not feeling this pc

return keep
that’s my thought process on it
90 day return 🤷♂️
what
https://youtu.be/hiwaxlttWow maybe i should just do this instead of upgrading my ssd, i'll just buy 300 usbs surely i'll have plenty of storage

How many USB devices can be plugged into a PC at one time? It's a reasonable question, but the answer is more complicated than yo...
wowee
oreo what is that string of numbers that you unveiled to my eyes
2021 if it was GPUs instead
real
2021 was insane
ppl had insane setups with like 700 series gpus 😂
oh
Thats 2 years after
are acer prebuilts good?
if i'm not mistaken, acer has been upping its prebuilt/diy part game a lot lately
Wow 3 audio jacks
You know it's gonna be $400-500 overpriced when they include the RGB keyboard on the specsheet
12700 on a board with 2 memory slots? Or is (available) truly meaning "open and usable?"
Nice change if they're now telling you about free slots
i think it’s just cause it comes with a KB&M and it always will show what type of KB it is and stuff
what’s ddr5
wym
it’s always been like that
When did Acer ever give the customer specific info about the upgradability of their PCs before selling them?
dance dance revolution 5
oh
(It's not)
oh
double data rate 5 random access memory
bob recommended it
It's a powerful system, but it's a bit weird too
Something about 12700 + 32Gb ram + 4060 sits wrong with me
heavy ram and likely GPU limited with an adequate display
I know it's bad advice to wait sincec there's always something new coming out with PCs, but 14th gen Intel feels veeeeery close...
whats a good budget gaming pc?
currently looking and i barely know about pc's or specs or whatever
Budget, resolution, refresh rate, country?
$600 and im from the usa idk if resolution or refresh rate matters i have a 120 hz monitor i use right now for my xbox series s
144 hz actually
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hNF4DZ + used GPU in the 2070 range on ebay
bonus points if you get the CPU on ebay closer to $100 than $130, and get the board pre-owned at Microcenter or something
really hate putting EVGA BR in there but it only starts having issues at its listed wattage. Wish Corsair didn't get done in by the government
what did corsair do
ship from China
ok, but what did corsair do
got heavily taxed or something for it and having a few components from other countries the US government wanted to tax, and their $45 CX gray shot up to $150 within a week
what the fuck
pretty much punished for providing too good a deal
There were also lots of TX550(m) promos in the $55 range before, and RMx at $70-80 :/
Now you can get 2021 RMx for $170, yipee!
This was mid-late 2020 or so, not sure what the deal is with them now. It looks like they made new CX models but with the old guard of PSU reviews gone from the internet, I've no clue if they're good buys
Maybe I have the dates wrong, and I apologize if so. Anyways, seeing a reliable, reviewed, and tested 550W unit at a price like this is no more
how good is this system?

blud that is not a gpu or cpu
real and genuine
@stuck lichen It'll run any game on the market. It won't be maxing out anything recent if targeting 144hz. For $600, it'll be hard to get something significantly better though
That 4090ti looks alot my 2060oc
question.. there’s a controller i have seen with overcooking abilities to get up to 1000HZ polling rate which is very good but the software to overclock it is specifically on pc
you wouldn’t be able to overclock it on a console would you?
wait, normal controllers don't even have 1khz polling?
nope ps5 ones do.. but regular xbox controllers even the series come at like 250HZ which is 4Ms delay where as 1000HZ is 1ms
of course you have overclocking capabilities on pc
but that’s why i’m wondering whether i could use a 1000HZ polling rate controller on xbox and get that..
1000hz is 1ms
yeah
not .1
wrong numerals then but 250Hz is 4ms
i’m just wondering whether i could receive that input “1000HZ” on my xbox
the specific controller is the T4 Kaleid
i don’t think so tho as the default controller comes at 250HZ the 1000HZ is only opened once you overclock it on their software which is only available on pc
presumably the polling rate can't be saved on the hardware, and even if it can, it's unlikely xbox will support that
it’s because of the way xbox’s system works they’re not like sony they don’t just use bluetooth for controllers it’s also why polling rate can also be spread..
if not i will just get a cronus and buy a ps5 controller but would rather not if i can receive 1000HZ off the T4
i thought this anyway but yeah thanks for the help
if you buy a cronus
I fucking despise you
ruins every competitive type game
i’m not using it to run strike packs😂 im using it to get better response time on my controller plus the only physically way you can sync a ps5 to your xbox is using one
fr tho
What's the best way to configurate fans in a Lian Li o11 evo?
Get P12s
Is the O11 Evo's cooling special in some way? If not, pair 2 front 140mm intakes with a rear exhaust and you'll probably be fine
Looks normal

And if you really need it because your gpu is getting super hot for some reason, then you can add a single fan to the bottom for fresh, directed air intake
I'm asking for which ones should be intake and which ones should be exhaust
I was thinking bottom and side for intake, top and rear for exhaust
i think having side for intake could mess with the chimney format
What do I do for the side then?
put a blocking plate there
air goes front to back, everything else is bling
Air doesn't have to go front to back. That's just where the filters are
yes, air going back to front is more big brain. no dust in the room if everything is stuck in your pc
don't have to vacuum your room then
is all you need really
I'll try a few configuration
First I'll try side and bottom for intake, rear and top for exhaust
that would work but its far from efficient
Since hot air goes up I think that would provide good recycling of hot and cold air
I'm also looking for ascetic not just performance
Like I said I'll try a few configurations

We bought the Microcenter PowerSpec G513 micro-ATX pre-built to see if it's any good. Our review, testing, and benchmarks evaluate the thermal performance, but we also look at the assembly quality, part selection, and value. This system nails it on a lot of points -- but has one ...
U can try populating all the fans but the rear and side should spin at the lowest RPM possible and stays that way
that's some hair, bet he takes longer in the bathroom than some women
When he has it tied back, it's like "Where did it all go???"

Gonna be ordering a steam deck next week
The refurbished 256gb one for £359
any accessories that i should get?
Now my knees have good lighting
Dude I just turned msi center off in task manager and my cpu temps went down 20°C
Almost 30°
Just upgraded my cpu cooler the other day (Kraken 240) and its running games around 60ºC-70ºC, is this normal?
Specs: i5-9600k and RTX 3070 Ti
did you forgotted to peel off the film on the cooler?
It had a film on the screen and the back was covered with just plastic since it has preapplied thermal paste
Should anything be noted when switching to liquid cooled?
actually, 60-70c in games is perfectly fine, nevermind
the cpu block shouldn't be the highest point in the cooler so that air doesn't accumulate in it (not mandatory, but heavily recommended), other than that, no
My gpu fans have been running kinda loud (which is surprising for a triple fan rtx 3070ti) is there anyway i can reduce it
custom fan curve in msi afterburner or fancontrol or argusmonitor
I would think of a good power bank that supports it and maybe one of these docks
buying cheap microsd cards on aliexpress be like
I love my £10 64tb micro sd from ebay
china's finest
i wander what the actual capacity is
8gb?
maybe even 64? which still wouldn't be a good deal
64tb duh only been able to fill up 1gb so far tho due to its 100kb per minute speed
if you need a place to point your data streams to that desperately, why not check out https://devnull-as-a-service.com/ instead
I'm joking I don't have a 64tb micro sd
it was all a lie
Ask in #gta-tech-support. Probably need to fully stop and restart Social Club
Anyone have a link to one of those GDC-like things but for Pikmin?
Each pikmin in your army is checking for things seemingly on every frame, without the game having some obvious gameplay-changing optimization, like something that transforms 100 pikmin into 4 groups of 25 pikmin.
The pikmin don't even get optimized down to something like pikmin on the outer edges detecting nearby tasks while the inner ones only follow the captain. Nearly all of them are active. How?
Screen settings and change ur ratio to 16-10 or 1080p

My phone will no longer receive updates
Which phone will you move to next?
Change your screen settings or update drivers
You know those Customer Service chat bots that pop up on some sites? I used it and spoke to an actual rep for a bit, and I asked for a spec sheet link.
She sent it and I clicked it, opening in the same tab, but the chat didn't stay up like she said it would.
Turns out, since I have my Tracker filter set to strict, it didn't let the chat window "follow" me to the new page
Press F for the fat commission Danielle would have gotten from our order
I have an s10 that still receives updates?
No
Coria
wat
Hii
oh lol
hello
@jade pivot I work In a supermarket and when I get paid I can get 15% off a new phone
what phone should I ge
prefer samsung galaxy as had all my life
get samsung then
idk much about phones and if I should go for s23 or older model
?
wrong channel🤭
ok weirdo
ok😔
ye that's how I feel about my s10
tho the battery isn't very good and even after a 5h shift at work with occasional usage it's starting to go down fast
get rid of shitty apps constantly updating then
the battery of my X is still at 86% or sth
My wiimote won’t connect to dolphin emulator ☹️
Does your Wiimote correctly connect to your PC?
It can sometimes be hard to tell, with the lights sometimes being entirely off or other times all 4 being on
Does it get detected by programs like GlovePie or Window's Device Manager?
If so, toggle between real mode and hybrid mode on Dolphin
I have the s22ultra and can say that its pretty good
If its like around 700-600 new its probably worth it
The s23ultra is pretty much the best phone of this year
But if you dont want anything that big maybe get an s23
If you dont want to waste than much money buy something like a pixel 7a
Or an a54
Imo the pixel is better if ur not gonna play or anything
If you game heavy games definitely go for the a54
That is my opinion
And if you want something new for around 700 get the pixel 7 pro. The performance is worst than the s22ultras but the software is really good i heard

Thermals look good with this fan configuration
S23 is highly rated by many
if you're picking one of the 20 series
21 is good
22 isnt too much of an improvement over 21
23 is good
s23 is one of my main contenders for a new phone because it's small
really the only problem that i have is samsung's bloatware
and that all of the models look the same
200 bucks
1000 bucks
literally the same thing
i hate how much of the cost goes into cameras on phones nowadays
I hate ugly camera bumps honestly
no professional photographer is going to use their smartphone for work, it's mostly marketing FUD
I mean it's super nice using my 14 pro's camera I've been spoiled
It's not just marketing, there's plenty of people who use their phone for both still and video work professionally.
It's just not often the go-to for the majority that have a selection of hardware
For the layman like me though, yeah, it's got its uses, but it might as well just he a gimmick if you (I) stick to Auto for everything
S10 lite
Does it have good battery life?
damn i thought you was an iphone loser i fw you more now
they lost the plot of what moto razr is supposed to look like
Yeah it's great
I didn't know Samsung bought Motorola
🕵️
I think samsungs camera bumps look really good
They just look alike to their cheapers thats abiut it
I also really like the looks of the ultras
The s21ultra was so sexy back then
Segsy
I used to have a Nexus 6p.
Not a camera bump but a whole sensor forehead
gimme one of the older iphones without that ugly af bump and i'll be happy
phones are too big nowadays
xiaomi mi mix 1 is a strong contender for the best looking brick
Zenphone 10
i bought a 70 bucks xiaomi recently because i need a cheap phone for traveling, and i prefer iOS unfortunately. android feels really clunky in some areas

wat
i dont need to swipe down and left 3 times on iOS to fuck around with hotspot settings
there's no permanent black bar on the bottom with three icons
i dont have to fuck around with preinstalled "cleaners" that tell me how good they are cleaning up 2mb of cache files everyday
downloading my legit ebooks with firefox + adblock is quite nice tho
i tried gestures and went back to buttons within like 20 minutes
i dont do that fancy multi finger stuff either, but "back" is just swiping from the left screen edge
on iOS
