you also have 6 years worth of stronger GPUs on the used market for the same price or lower. The 6500XT doesn't have any of the features that make newer GPUs appealing over those. A used 1070ti may do it

good luck - you need a 2230, NOT a 2242! 😉 (and if you don't understand what i mean, just forget it and pay a bit more upfront, safe you the hassle and you might end up paying more, and buy a reasonable MicroSD card as storage Upgrade - for wich you also don't need to waste money on models with higher read (or write) than 104MB/s, as that is the max transfer speed anyway! - tho, i read conflicting info about the importance of A1/A2 spec, but better safe than sorry there - buy at least A1 spec if on a budget or A2 spec drive - but be aware that technicly, this is not as important as on a phone or especially with running systems off of it! - so don't feel bad for taking A1 if you can safe on money, as it's use depends on the application! - and Valve seems to have made a good job, so you won't most certainly not feel a difference anyway!
What you should look out for however is extended temperature range - as that SD card will get hot!
(and obviously no no-name brand - sandisk, samsung, kingston - all good choices - but again, you don't need to go for the priciest option, other well known manufacturers produce just as good(&bad) - but simply don't buy from ebay or amazon, as SD card makeups are pretty common! - most specialized hardware sellers should be safe from them however, as they simply don't buy from untrusted sources!)

the question is if the Steamdeck supports those speeds? - i haven't found info on that yet - but i also doubt that you would notice the difference - tests between SSD and SD cards have shown already that you wait a few sec more, under 10s and mostly even under 5s - and the SSD has a much, much greater speed advantage! - only some samsung SD's theoreticly come close to that!

Im thinking on making a video game using either unreal engine or unity. Its gonna be a big game and a chalenge for me. I want this game to be a different type of GTA kinda like the FiveM hood servers, but not with the servers. With different maps/hoods, and gangster activities. I also want there to be NPC gang territories and if you in a gang and you enter a different gangs territory, they get alerted that a "opp" is bending their block and need to watch out and be cautious. I want it to be realistic with realistic cars (Lamborghini's, Dodge Chargers, and Lowriders etc.), clothes, and weapons. Theres more to the game bu im not gonna explain it all. Its gonna atleast take 4-8 months to complete. Any beginner tips?

The most common cause for a failed game on communities like r/gamedev is losing vision/changing your ideas too much and ending up with a mess. If you need to learn or relearn all the different skills for it, note down all the specifics for your concept first

What does the disc say on it? It shouldn't have any effect on the boot process unless it specifically says so. It's more likely that there's some SATA port priority nonsense than it being data on the disc itself

nah, it's a great deal, especially when you need multiple - as CPU fan i would still use a quality fan (with a good bearing) with high airflow - noctua is still pretty high standards, yet i don't use a single noctua yet xD

mate, go search for a used cherry keyboard - you'd be surprised how cheap (mechanical) keyboards can be bought in still fine working condition - afaik cherry only produced mechanical, tho better look beforehand still! - but cherry is known for quality and actually originated the different switch types - but also search the internet for a description what cherry switches be like, before you buy - if you're used to rubberdome, mechanical keyboards mostly lag that increasing actuation force and are mostly linear, meaning you have no taktile feedback - blue switches are taktile, but also VERY clicky - if you do voice calls or game with talking over VC, avoid blue switches!

Who still haven't at least tried Linux is plain stupid. - Windows sadly still is needed in case some software is not available for Linux, doesn't run as smoothly in Wine and has no good alternative or you simply don't want to relearn EVERYTHING, wich i can understand - but hence Dual OS or running dedicated VMs, there is no excuse not having both 😉
(ofc needs quite a bit of learning, but it has become much, much easyer to pull off even as someone who scratches on the surface of computer knowledge - no wizardry required anymore!)

if you look for a recommendation for a beginner, try Mint with Cinnamon - but feel free to install several linux distros onto a stick and just try them out yourself - i bet somewhere is even a "try package", but there are definitively several "what is the best linux distro for xyz" - just, dare to try some out and pick one you like - as a regular user you don't need to get to deep into technical details - just don't use Cent OS unless you know what you do! xD

sure, windows XP&7 you can silence and make it "yours" - windows 10&11 have spyware build so deep into them you can't get it completely silenced, else the system bugs out (ofc you can reduce telemetry to a minimum still)
Against babysitting helps shutting down UAC, wich isn't recommended as it is a crucial security measure - there's sadly no "inbetween" solution (afaik) - eighter you live with it or you risk your system

The A320 chipset still locks away a potential USB 3.1g2 (or is it 3.2 gen 1x1 now? Why the rename?) and overclocking. There's an A520 option for $1-2 more with PCIe 3 for its chipset lanes instead of PCIe2, and a B450 option for $6 more with overclocking and more of pretty much everything.

Depends on if you get the 80 ohm or 250 ohm version.

Technical you can run any but at appropriate levels and power requirements for the headphones. The 250 ohm not happening. The 80 ohm much easier but just because of the nature of on board sound you'll be missing a lot. You'll be fine with 80 ohm to start out.

Somethings just need proper power to truly shine.
