I just found a post that says the GPU in that Z400 is in the range of a 9600GT. More powerful than I described. You can probably run Beamng at 30-45fps if you don't mind a lowered resolution like 800x600, and not struggle with Roblox as much

If you have absolutely nothing, a three prong power cable and a video output cable for whichever ports your system has down here in red. You'll probably want a cheap cat5e/6/6a if you don't have some other ethernet cable laying around, too.

Prioritize what your monitor has first. If it has HDMI or DP, and the GPU has one of those, grab a cable for that. If your monitor has VGA and your GPU has VGA, get that.

Avoid DVI if you can.

If the macbook last had macos, it probably has apfs. You'll want to get whatever files you care about off of it first, and then clean and repartition it in Windows. Choose "GPT" and "NTFS" when you do that

Zen/Zen+ to Zen2 was a jump in heat and power consumption, made larger to Zen3, and now reaching 95C is expected and intended behavior for Zen4. Nvidia is making sure to pump things as much as necessary for them to make their "4x the performance of a 3090Ti" claim not a lie. A 30% efficiency improvement warrants pushing the silicon an extra 35% harder

speaking of fire hazard the company that validates new cable standards. With the adapters have been seeing when the cards are under high load for a duration of time that the plugs have been melting at the power supply.

To sum things up, an extreme bend radius of the 12VHPWR connector’s cable causes some of the terminals to maintain “ideal” connectivity, this causes resistance that builds up heat and will eventually cause melting of the connectors. Adapters here are as much at fault as regular full cables, showing no major reason for them specifically to be at fault. As of the time of writing, it’s unknown if this will delay any releases.

now to specify something here about these new 12vHP cables vs the adapters.

if we observe there is a small connecter that has four small pins. These pins can not be adapter. They are there for plug reasons. What those 4 pins is communicate over a full 12vHP cable (The New double ended cable type) to tell the PSU how much power it needs along with a few more bits of information related to power delivery. It's possible they might cut power if the temp is getting too high. So that is something to consider.

so there is two types of the PCie 5.0 12 pin plugs. The 12 pin plug adapter and the 12+4 pin

which the 12+4 pin is a smart cable in essence since it has communication lanes.

Just follow the steps in the documentation

If it detects anything, your OS is already toast, and you'll want to back up important things and reinstall fully

Yeah, they're missing the service. Usually, the issue is that the service crashed though, not that it's fully missing

Just have to hope malwarebytes can get rid of it assuming anything is detected, but if its something like a virus or malware thats been on there for a while its probably already had enough time to serve its payloads. better off reinstalling if thats the case

also check the nature of the detections. Some things are false positives from software you may not have acquired properly, some things might just be in your browser, most things warrant a full OS nuke though

The file path would be something you recognize and know to be safe, like an opensource mod for an offline singleplayer game from a reliable source

If they aren’t false positives I would just backup all your important information from your computer and put it on a usb and idk if you can do this but run a scan on the usb to make sure there isn’t anything harmful on it then have a different usb and download windows 10 or 11 depending on what you use and then boot into that one and delete the other one

It wouldn't be in the temp folder if it was being used benevolently. Since it isn't your PC, the owner should be given a recommendation to reinstall Windows
