Man you just don't know how Nintendo does things. They have like the worst backwards support to a current gen hardware in the industry. It's never been a priority to them. They also don't care about hardware, as they are the only company who doesn't embark on 4k or cutting edge hardware. They sell their consoles at a profit, the only ones who can. The thing Nintendo is really known for is being innovators with success or failures in hardware.
