there was this one time in i think 2014, someone was wondering what syandana i was wearing and it was just the cernos lol

most builds don't use gourmand so you could swap it off if you like but i use it to trigger archon intensify, just for bonus nourish/regurgitate strength
truth is that as you're using persistence and don't have shields, you're likely to trigger archon intensify all the time without gourmand anyways

The turning and drifting are set to different analog sticks which can be used seperate or together to go around turns better

Also dont get the adhd thing. The hud doesnt get in the way of anything important, the green QTE for boost is like 2 seconds long, so that doesnt get in that way, same for the ability QTE. The inputs are pretty simple too, especially when the game holds your hand about it through out the story. Tap RB for shifting (dont have to shift btw, just gives u a slight speed boost) hold RB for boost, hold LB for ability. Then basic Gas and Brake inputs on triggers.

Within like 5-10 mins of play time, you realize that tapping/hitting walls slows you down a good bit, but the game also tells you in tutorials to use the boost while in corners, which counters that wall slowdown

Using overdrive or whatever its called in game is kinda like that bullet thing from mario kart except towards the later end of that ability you become extremely fragile and fast so you actually need skill to control the car (hud pop up is also not obtrusive)

Sometimes it'll pop the fat spitty assholes with one shot to the ass and sometimes it'll take 2 or three shots

It's likely intended to be used on air targets or especially agile ones tbh

The fact that it does an assload of unarmored damage when engaging single targets is a side effect of the amount of projectiles

They're very nice for creating quick-reaction kill zones in the corridor between the exterior doors if there's a surge of enemies; deploy the EMS strike and then send in the more lethal stuff once everything is slowed down
