I figured out you can join Portal matches that have PvP bots and your still able to get full XP and do all weekly missions and get unlocks in them as well. How it works is every AI can turn into a real player if someone joins and takes that spot up but if you want to fight just AI without the hassle of players you have to host your own Portal server and set a password on it so no one else can join off the Portal browser

I have a couple Portal experiences set up that I can host. One for Conquest and one for Breakthrough. That's all my friend and I were doing last night is just farming challenges and XP off AI 🤣
