I love it

It's Linux-based, which means many games with anticheat don't work on it because the devs of the game usually have to actually make it work themselves, but Valve's Proton is a miracle machine for making games not friendly to Linux (ergo, thousands of Windows-based games) function properly

As for the steam deck as a gaming device, it does the job well and makes very good use of it's custom AMD APU and can get decent performance in most of the games I've played on it, but it struggles with CPU-Heavy games like Helldivers 2

The UI works really well for hand-held, and the trackpads are probably the single greatest feature that separates it from the other gaming handhelds (which I'm certain exist because of the steam deck)

I won't get more into it here because there's already a text wall and honestly you should just go watch a review if you want to buy one yourself

But speaking only for myself, the steam deck is fucking awesome
