There's also boats and planes, but the main focus is and always has been the cars

And something that doesn't get talked about as much as I think it should is the customization

Depending on the car (it's honestly a roll of the dice how much customization a car gets, it can either have a lot or very little, irrespective of the type of car it actually is), it can rival or surpass need for speed

The game doesn't really go for econobox hatchbacks or NPC shitboxes with no business in a racing game either; they really only add cars that you'd want to drive irresponsibly

I'm happy the devs are making the trucking games more accessable to people. ETS2 and ATS are treats. Also ATS is getting a Road Trip update where you can drive cars. ETS2 is getting something similar but with busses instead
