I don't understand people flipping out over a 5 dollar patreon donation (which is what it is, it is a donation not a subscription) for a DLSS 3.0 add-on is somehow unacceptable, since he did work on the mod completely independant of either Bethesda or Nvidia

you do not possess hardware capable of utilizing DLSS 3.0 technology and the means to play Starfield without having enough financial stability to shell 5 dollars for the mod, unless you're a kid leeching off of their parents' money (most likely pirating the game too)

plus the fact the modder allows DLSS 2.0 to be integrated into Starfield absolutely free of cost.. 😶

At the start of a new game (after the heist when the map opens up for you) you will get a call in each area "welcoming" you to them. I never fully got the phone call when entering Pacifica, as a result, the game was never able to trigger the phone call during the DLC. and it seems that was the only time the game was able to do it.
