baldurs gate's turnbased combat allows the environment to also be part of it

Like pokemon I loved, but stopped playing because there's just no new innovation in the games

so you could chuck an enemy to another enemy for a two in one or literally making a barricade to stop enemies from going through a door

the only real reason why ive hated turnbased combat is the lack of freedom, youre only really locked with the certain action skills and items to heal from

only people who had a skill issue in this game are people who refuse to move

there are 4 bosses which take 5hrs for people to beat, i beat all of them in around 20min-1hr while constantly changing my AC so it doesn't feel like beating your head against a wall

Halo is a more subjective comparison, since it definitely allows you to get up and inside enemies faces and blow them to death, but since the option of ducking behind cover and sniping an army to death also exists (and since it's easier) I suppose most people do not play that way

I love rocking a BR and a Shotgun/Mauler in my Halo runthroughs

Smooth transition from stealth to loud.
Enhanced lock picking and object interaction.
Graphics and weapon sounds are good.
Clear narrative.

Cons:
Requires Nebula to play.
Always online, no offline mode.
No pause in solo play, need to queue for solo.
Possible lag in solo mode.
No lobby browser.
Unfriendly menu navigation.
No return to menu with random group after a heist.
Weapon customization seems pointless.
Lack of numerical weapon stats.
Combined primary and secondary weapons in buy menu.
Separate accuracy stats for ADS and hip fire.
Assault rifles and SMGs feel weak.

Melee attacks ineffective, no melee weapons.
Missing features like lasers and safe house.
Limited crosshair customization.
Clunky ping system instead of interact.
Annoying slide mechanic without option to disable.
Small ammo pickup range without outlines.
Slow mouse sensitivity.
Infamy LVL XP only from challenges.
Skill system favors constant buffs, many skills are useless.
Game has potential but needs significant improvements, feels like an early access version and a downgrade from Payday 2.
