MW3 Campaign will feature linear missions, and also a new way to play - Open Combat Missions.

These missions allow the player to dictate how they go through the mission and the path you take across the mission.

Half linear missions, half open combat missions.

Now you mostly farm up Scrap. You'll probably need to be like level 5 or 10 to unlock the workbenches to make better stuff

Machine guns are the "I need a gun" so Vectors aren't a bad choice for blue, if it lets you.
Autocannons are midrange weapons, the Rapier is your only choice in Blue
Shotguns are fragile but great at stripping other guns, Lupara is the white form.
Drones are out of meta.
Melee builds work if you get 2 or 3 blue "Borer"

Cannons are risk/reward weapons

On your builds always have a Radio and Radar. Even the white radar is good.

In the bottom right is a picture of a gun, it lets you change the button your guns are mapped to, so you can manage your cooldowns better and not overheat your weapons.

On that, try to not have too many different weapons.

A cannon, shotgun, MG, all in one? Terrible build
