And I would have preferred building on the existing space ship sandbox, and maybe crossplay instead of a bad FPS module slapped onto the game

I absolutely take issue with the game being $70. Every other Switch game thus far is 60. It's been far and above shown the price increases by ps and XB are testing the water to see if they can get away with it, not actually driven by inflation or whatever other sad excuse a corporate mouthpiece will give.

GTA’s singlayer aspect is dead, the story isn’t that good and generally there isn’t very many activities you can engage in outside of the main story. GTA Online is mainly what people buy the game for and it gets updated frequently with new content (a bunch of it is already accumulated by this point) but it gets boring after you’ve completed most heists and misisons, and you get to the point where you’re only grinding to buy cars for... apparently no reason, maybe you just want to fill your garage (at least that’s my experience)

RDR2 on the other end, the story is so much better, there is an almost infinite anount of side-quests and random missions completely unrelated to the story. After finishing the SP, you still have plenty to do (it takes an eternity to reach 100% full completion) from stranger missions that have a story of their own, hunting, fishing and exploring new areas, animals and other interesting things. The MP aspect of the game is similar to GTA in that it gets boring after you’ve played the main missions and acquired the best weapons and horses etc
