A majority of the people who want to buy Unrecord should have this mindset imo. Games becoming more realistic was bound to happen over time, and games with the same type of gameplay that Unrecord will have would benefit from being behind restrictions for purchases. There still is not any study linking video game violence to the player wanting to commit violence in the real world, but there's no way playing a game like that will have positive mental influence to some people (i.e. mental health).

The first game coming to every platform but Xbox

It is factually proven that Sony has paid to keep some games off Xbox or Xbox gamepass

They also blocked crossplay much longer than MS

But I'm mostly on Xbox these days cause 360 was cheaper than PS3. And with backwards compatibility as it is switching now is not an option anymore lol

Also, if you own the series S and plan to play Jedi survivor on it, you might have to play it on 30 frames

I mean if you have a higher quality standard you regularly partake in, then yes the difference is noticeable, but we JUST left a standard of 1080 30 fps, if it can maintain 30 and never drop at least, thats not a "bad" standard

That’s probably where the problem lies. Having to worry about one objectively worse console compared to the other and making games work and optimized for both

Having a cheaper option isn’t bad whatsoever, but I’m sure it will show down the line. At least in this gen

I'd agree there. A game not having a higher mode for the higher console would have been the logical choice, but it sounds like, based on your description

But that choice of a weaker GPU did allow them to have much better availability early after release

They built it for Ss and then realized SX was an option

And couldn't ramp it up

So everyone gets the SS version

I think their goal at this point is to just get hardware in people’s hands and hope they buy gamepass

They’ve also been pushing cloud gaming pretty hard as well

These big publisher and studio purchases are definitely there to make gamepass more marketable down the line

I think it was their purchase of the F1 license that forced them to shift most resources from elite

Especially regarding how lacklustre F1 manager 2022 was (and how quick they abandoned further development/fixing to focus on 23 lol)
