To clarify, in Helldivers if you mess up and your car begins to flip over to the left, turning your car to the left and hitting the accelerator will pull you back to the ground (because physics). I've noticed that this also works in GTA...but...on a controller that means you're also tilting the car further into the roll.

Some vehicles can surprise you and start rolling in unexpected places
But experience will help you with predicting it
