@vernal gate depending if the image is night or day depends on some settings being different.
Using Windows Photo Editor, If during the day, I turn brightness down and exposure up. A tiny bit of contrast, a smidgen of saturation. Adjust warmth down until the road doesn't look yellowish. If centering the shot on the car, some Vignette is a good way to draw the eye in to the center. Use +vingette
Then sharpness. But don't use to much or it sharpens the pixels like in the McLaren Pic I took that u said look low res. Too much sharpness is bad. Use just enough to un-fog some details.
For a night shot. Opposites work. Brighten it up, take down the exposure if there is too much glare from lights. Contrast down a bit in some cases. It depends if the car is being shot using moon light, or in a street light.
Play with highlights and shadows. But too much of each will bring out details that will look fake to the eye. Like if there is a dark alley, but all the details can be seen as well as the car, then it doesn't "appear" real to the eye.
Since this is a game, non of it is real. But, it's about tricking the eye enough to take a second glance just to make sure.
So high detail, but don't over do it. Backgrounds should be a bit fuzzy if the car is in focus.
That's about all the tips I got.

Someone helped me test them both out and while the Virtue does have better acceleration (like, 0-60 in 1.5 seconds type shi), the brakes and handling are complete and utter dogwater 🫠
I could not make a u turn without running onto the sidewalk or slowing nearly to a stop (all 5 seconds it took to do so lmfao)
D8 feels better for drifting too
I mean, it's not really a drifting car but I still like to take corners with a lil drift and it feels much better than with the Virtue

I would do the Gauntlet PD car if you want a lot of style choices for the car. It handles better. etc. It's based on a newer car, so..yeea.
The Dom FX handles just how it looks. Like a Foxbody. So heavy as crap and has a tendency to steer toward crowds.
Its also a PD car, so neither one has the ability to do wheelies.
