A clarification here:

Spoilers don't add Downforce, only Traction

However, if the car has Downforce already, it can benefit for a little bit of Traction with a Spoiler (there are Exceptions like the 10F and the Torero XO for example, no matter which Spoiler you use, they will not help in a single thing besides looks)

And Second, Engine Upgrades don't increase acceleration

They only increase the Top Speed

A Stock car and the same car with Max Engine will accelerate the same

But the Stock One will be behind the Engine-Upgraded one once the Upgraded one passes the Stock Car Top Speed
