Brake boosting is decently hard to pull of in the average situation and barely making a noticeable difference, could you be talking about what commonly referred to as “double clutching”

I don’t know much about brake boosting but it involves the bumps in the road, knowing when you bump and when to brake i would assume

You can look up a youtube video if you want, i am not the best at explaining things but this is pretty cookie cutter when you get the hang of it whereas brake boosting you need to know the road and where to position yourself, which playing the game for 6000 hours must come natural.. but hey i’m just a simple man

i’m kind of talking out of my ass about brake boosting as well as i’ve only done it a couple times in story using franklins ability.. and barely pulled it off at that

But it’s definitely harder then double clutching, while less useful, DC is nice when taking right turns and gaining speed back quicker

id suggest watching a yt video then, you need to have a basic understanding of the cars gears, it’s not hard when you get the hang of it, you just listen to the car when it starts getting higher pitched and more aggressive that’s when you do it, after it does it to get out of second gear.. if that makes any sense

If you want to practice, get in a muscle car without turbo upgrade, you should be able to hear each different gear you are in, the cars sound slowly getting higher pitched.. the game shifts for you because cars are automatic but it’s still happening in background
