I know it has been explained already, but after the jewellery store job, you have to play as trevor for a little while and then you're given the option to play Michael and Franklin again. You should be able to play as them again when you're playing as Trevor and you have to drive into the city to find Michael with wade.

michael was not in witness protection. He is "hidden" as part of a deal he made with Dave where he would get to escape and would have to pay Dave a certain sum every month for Dave to keep his end, which was to kill Trevor, let Brad get arrested and set Michael up with a new identity and name (Townley -> De Santa). It is not witness protection because Michael was not giving evidence in any case and is officially not a witness because (obviously) this "deal" did not exactly go to plan

it's not as difficult as you think to understand. On a basic level, you buy shares (part of a company) when they're cheap (the price you pay to buy shares is the share price in this description). You then wait for them to become "expensive", then sell them when they're expensive, so that you are buying cheap and selling expensive. It's like buying something from a shop that costs £3 then selling it for £5 on Ebay, only irl you cant really control the buy or sell price (it could be sold at £5 or maybe £5.30). In gta 5 the assassination missions will control the buy and sell prices.

After you assassinate the CEO, Bilkinton will "collapse" for a brief period of time. Because of that, Betta pharmaceuticals have no real competition so their share price becomes "expensive", making it a good time to sell your shares there. Since bilkinton research has "collapsed", its share price will be very low - a good time to buy shares. When their share price goes back to normal after a couple of days, then it is good to sell those Bilkinton shares

this explains all the timings and underneath that is what to invest in before and after each mission (to make the most amount of money). You sell your shares when they reach their peak price. The time taken for that to happen will depend on whether the company is on LCN or BAWSAQ. @torpid harbor

Does it have to do progressing story mode to progress the private taxi mission? How to trigger this private taxi fare mission?

trevor's story is a bit "sad" because he was brought up to the point he developed a mental illness (wasn't his fault) and he got betrayed, his dreams were crushed etc.

only benefit to killing him is that you get 1/2 per character of his share from the big score but michael stops speaking to franklin and some content is "lost" as such which is kind of boring.
