Anyone know how to get Steam to properly resume downloads? Got a shit tier dsl connection takes three days to download the game and every time something pauses it the download resumes at 0% progress rather than where it left off. Have wasted the past three weeks trying to get the game installed because of this.

Soemthing always ends up pausing it at some point. had it pause itself overnight with 60 gigs downloaded, have had other people in the house pause it, have had internet fluctuations cause it to stall.

I want a solution to the problem, not a smartass response I haven't been trying already the whole time. You know how to make Steam do what it's supposed to do or not?

Are there any other missions to do? sometimes wade messages after you've done one of the FIB ones. If you picked the freighter approach you should get it only a couple of minutes after you finishing scouting the port. If you didn't then it's glitched. If there isn't anything else to do then try a strangers and freaks mission and hopefully after you've finished it, the game will "reset" in someway and wade will text you

try loading another save maybe from before scouting the port? also ensure you're playing as trevor for as long as possible to maximise the chances of receiving the text. I know it's inconvenient but that's my alternative. Anyways i'm gonna go to bed so I can't really respond beyond this point so if this doesn't work then i guess you can either try the internet or go back even further. Or if all else fails uninstall and reinstall the game or restart the story but this is pretty much a last resort and you shouldnt have to get to this point

Basically they're trying to find tahir javan, someone who the FIB (by FIB i mean Steve Haines) think they can play off as a terrorist so when they kill him they'll look like heroes and receive a bump in funding over the IAA. Mr K. knows tahir javan but either because he's in shock or trying to be protective, he doesn't reveal the details instantly, so trevor is asked torture him till he gives enough information to find and kill tahir

most of the FIB missions are just steve trying to get michael and the others to help him to sabotage the IAA and promote the FIB
