Check this video and you should find the completion to hobbies and pastimes retry again also if you completed the bike or the car races you don’t have to do that as they got a check mark on the icon same with ammunition gun range make sure the medal is in every challenge of each weapon category

I think the cops in this game have always been particularly annoying and unrealistic since it says on the map that they dont know where you are but they still drive towards you and they have also been pretty hotheaded with their driving when i switched over to enhanced i didnt notice a difference

So trevor and micheal had a VERY long history, i thimk they said 10 yeara before yankton. The original crew (this is 20% evidence 80% headcannon) lester was the master mind, trevor was the weapons expert, micheal was assassin and ron was the getaway driver.

Lester did scores for micheal and trevor but then split from them (presumably with his new cyberbusiness with paige) in which he was replaced with brad.

Ron got out took his split and started a business with trevor as a coceo as a transport specialist and was replaced by the guy who was shot in the bronco.

Micheal gets caught the first time. He get introuble with the feds. (Lester made fun of him for this when they reunite) and in order to stay out of prison he became an informant. His job i neleive was to take down ron and trevor.

I got a book of notes open on the topic.

So the cop micheal deals with was going to arrest him. He makes a deal specifically with the cop that says if you get me out ill give you trevor. So the cop helps micheal set up north yankton (why it was empty).

The cop tells officers to specifically ignore the bronco and let it past (why they ignore you at the start) to coral them into the ambush. Micheal made sure they had little to no ammo.

The cop shows up goes to shoot trevor but brad accidentally stepz in at the wrong time spooking trevor. Micheal would have been blown so he shot micheal.

Trevor gets away, the officer says to micheal "you owe me trevor come see me when he resurfaces" so micheal does that and pays the cop to not just turn on him.

You learn about this whole ordeal about 2/3rds of the way through the game.

Now for the funny thing oncdeath wish.

If trevor died, micheal dissappears and starts a new life because his deal is done and he can move on. If micheal dies trevor will learn the truth and break down which is why he acts the way he does. If neither of them die micheal alters the deal to use the program to get micheal and trevor out.
