I would search up a list of all possible random events and find ones you know you haven't done, figure out where you need to be and when for them to spawn and just kinda drive around and linger until they happen

how do yall take the Jefferson Motel in San andreas?

I can't get the Ballas to spawn there for me to start a gang war

I did it one time, and the Ballas ended up spawning under a bridge and getting stuck

had to go chase them down, and by the time I did the territory failed me for fleeing

I'm so sick of rolling around the block like 50 times and still not getting the Ballas to spawn

and it doesn't help that the sidewalk isn't considered ballas territory, so when I kill them it doesn't count the kills as part of the motel

My advice do a couple of sweets missions first, if u already took over the territories 100% the game gives some to the ballas for that specific mission

id say for the base gta 4 story its around the same if not longer (theres something like 10 or 15 more missions but theyre generally shorter than gta 5) if you include tlad and tbogt its probably looking to be about 50% longer than gta 5's story

but id go for it i started playing gta 5 then moved to gta 4 and you can still have a lot of fun w it

for pc theres one bug where on the very last mission you cant climb into the helicopter unless you cap ur fps at 30 (at least for the version u can buy on steam)

make sure youre using a valid car as well

just steal an npc's car

cant use your player car

if you have a valid car and location itll tell you in the top left ("this car can be used as a getaway car")

and itll give you instructions if you stop in a good place

you can get up to 41.6 million from the last heist. You have to take the obvious approach and use daryl johnson (6% gunman), one of the gunmen who takes 7% (Hugh Welsh or Norm Richards), Taliana Martinez as the first driver to pilot the helicopter (5% driver who you unlock from a random event) and Karim Denz (8% driver) for the train. If you took karim on the jewel store job or the fib raid you can take him as your first driver but if you didnt then dont take him as your first driver because he'll crash and lose half your money

the only crew member who needs to be good is your first driver and taliana is the best cheapest crew member if you dont unlock her from the random event near paleto bay then youll have to use eddie toh which takes away another 9%

the two gunmen and second driver don't affect the outcome of the heist for the obvious approach no matter their skill
