Anyone here who plays 4K in general or 4K with SLI? I have never seen such a smooth and well-optimized delivery in SLI with 4K ultras. The game is old but looks so amazing apart from some outdated lower-res textures. No glitches, artefacts, no nothing.

I mean in no other game. Everything is GTA just seems so well done and bug-free, and SLI is no exception.

Well, many developers do not bother to polish it all that much after initial release. I haven't really experienced glitches, but I only play story. I tried online but it was kind of too confusing and I didn't appreciate all the griefing.

I have about 500 hours on the game. A couple of "take your time and don't rush it" playthroughs, getting collectibles, and a lot of just exploring and taking screenshots because the game has some beautiful views and the 4K looks good unless you are too close to people or certain buildings with low-res textures.

And trying to get gold on missions.

I think it is a travesty that the game does not promote 1st person as much as it could. When I discovered that and the fact that the default 1st person camera angle is bad (you should elevate it to eye level in the settings), that really opened up an immersive world.

No other game, and I mean no other I have played, comes even close to how satisfying driving in first person is.

All the others have something wrong with them. Like no unlimited free look and the obsession to put the players eyes inside the car instead of outside the windshield so the car does not obstruct view.

When you learn to drive 1st person, driving actually becomes very easy and intuitive. Easy to dodge traffic and you really feel like you are in the driver's seat.

It ruined many other games for me. 🙂 In one game you cannot turn your head more than 70 degrees to look around. In another, you have auto-centering after a few seconds that you cannot turn off. Etc.

Do you have the default setting? The one that puts you on the bumper level? You need to go to the settings to lift the point of view to your eye level and then it's absolutely golden.

for that mission you don't have to go to flight school. The only thing flight school will affect is the dialogue. The merryweather offshore heist is only available once you've started the preps for blitz play iirc

I'm not 100% sure when hes available but get mcreary just before you start the casing the jewel store mission since that's when you'll need to have him. He usually spawns between specific times so just drive by the dollar store. I think taliana can be spawned after Mr Phillips but in any case try driving around that area down the highway just before the architect plans mission since thats when you choose your crew and its the first heist you can use taliana

Hey guys, I have a question about story mode. I’ve recently started playing again, and I’ve noticed that no further missions show up on the map. I saw an article about this on the Rockstar forum, which gave me a number of possible fixes (reloading saves, clearing cache, skipping cab rides) but none of them worked. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this so I can continue my playthrough? I’m currently on the “pulling one last favor” mission

Achievement wise, I only have Online ones to do. Except for the animals director mode achievement :)

what was the last story mode mission you did because pulling one last favour isnt a part of the main story its a strangers and freaks mission
