Basically witness protection is when somebody testifies (gives evidence that someone committed a crime) against somebody else in a case and they need protection from that person. But in Michael's case there wasn't actually a "crime" that happened so he wasn't in witness protection instead he just changed his name and paid Dave off to help him with the process of "faking his death"

witness protection is sort of the formal and legal version of what Michael did

it is possible for you to be crashed whilst playing SP, but the chances of a modder specifically targetting ur username are very very low.

kind of, SP crashing is fairly new, at least as publicly as it is atm. been around for a while but now most menus have it, they'll need ur RID or username to perform it. and need to specifically do it against you, if you don't have any modders that keep an eye out for you/stalk you, playing SP should be fine without blocking connections

@fossil swift apparently there is a workaround for the chop not following glitch. Create a hard save as Michael or Trevor that loads you in at 8am and switch to Franklin for a chance of Franklin already walking Chop.

Haven’t tested it myself but someone made a video about it a month ago and comments from a week ago said it worked
