I'm having an issue with a Strangers and Freaks mission where you burn down a real estate agent's house. It mission fails me for running out of gasoline however there is not enough gasoline to even finish the trail. I made this story.

Actually you can play chop before complications, it's just that the dialogue between franklin and lamar will be different since he hasn't met Michael. Also the Long Stretch can be left to just after the jewelry store heist iirc but again the dialogue won't make sense since they expected you to do the long stretch earlier. But you still have to do the mission to unlock hood safari and so on

also there might be some bugs if you do end up doing the long stretch after the heist but i'm not 100% certain about that

I have, and would recommend killing off Playboy X
if you do kill him, you get his mansion as a save point and car slot, and a special outfit to dress up like Claude of GTA III, as well as the ability to hang out with Dwayne, after you respond positively to him via email, to further unlock the ability of gang support from him.
i think if you kill Dwayne however, you get a decent lump sum off Playboy X ($25,000), but you wont ever interact with Playboy X again, as he reflects on your actions and cuts ties with you.
Its easier to take out Dwayne over Playboy X, though
