I rescued him when I was helping someone with a move job who was just going to abandon him because in his words “ he was not a people person”

The guy was moving from an apartment to a house. He wanted to take the tank, but not him, and I offered to take him and he gave him to me for free.

The guy told me he only fed him 3 times a week (Monday Wednesday Friday) but as soon as I got him home eats two and three times a day so I think he was underfed

So in total, I spent about 120 on the tank set up. I do need to get a little bit bigger tank though, but this is just for right now and basically I go buy a bundle of collard greens. It’s a buck 50 and I keep those chopped up in a container and that’ll last two weeks

I spread a little calcium powder so he gets his nutrients and he’s perfectly fine

And other then having to clean his cage once a week or so he’s very low maintenance

I keep his heat lamp on and he’ll chill on his log for most of the day, or he’ll go inside and sleep inside it

Found Nala on side of interstate in Pennsylvania under a box 1 week old. Vet said she wouldn’t survive and wanted to put her down. I saw a fighter in her eyes and said let her choose, what do I need to do to help her chances.

Found Eira at a truck stop in Georgia with incorrectly healed fractured pelvis and both back legs broken. Vet had to rebreak everything to correct it.
